Sweat vs Allen vs Williams vs Bosa

For sake of argument, let’s say all four top D-linemen dropped. (I’m not including Gary and Oliver because they’re almost sure to be there at 7.) Which one do you most want to fall?

Allen. IMO, he is the best player in the draft.

He’s got the measurables. Was he more productive than Sweat? If Allen and Sweat are both there, is Allen just head and shoulders above Sweat as an edge rusher?

Gotta be Bosa I'd say, could you imagine having Yannick and Bosa as ends for the foreseeable future? I'm sure Luck, Watson and Mariota wouldn't want to.

Agree, perfect successor to Campbell

Bosa or Williams and I'm running up to the podium.

The rest I'm looking at what other possible prospects are available but would still possibly draft.

Where is Oliver on the list? Do you not think hes that good or did you just forget him?

I'd go

1. Bosa
2. Oliver
3. Alllen
4. Williams
5. Sweat

Oliver over Sweat. Not sure if I wouldn't put him over Allen just for fit on the Jags.

He will likely be available at #7. That’s why he wasn’t included.

I can't imagine Oliver wouldn't be BAP at 7 (disregarding QBs). Tampa would be stupid to pass on him at 5.

Can he play big end/5 tech? Otherwise he’s in Bryan’s development lane as a lighter pass rushing 3 tech tackle.

Oliver will be BAP even counting the QBs. I could see the Giants taking him too instead of reaching for a QB like Haskins

Yes he will be able to, he can slide inside on passing downs

Bryan was a need last year? Tom is more of a BAP drafter in the 1st .  As Pirk said, Tom was never short of dlineman in NY and it helped get him 2 rings

I'm all for drafting any of the top D-linemen over OT Taylor. My gut tells me he'll be a bust; I don't know why. I'd rather trade out of the spot, actually, a sentiment shared by many board members here.
