The law also lets a judge release grand jury information when strong public interest is at stake.

Or that the dems would even attempt “elaborate precautions to insure against unnecessary and inappropriate disclosure of these materials.” I predict it will take them exactly 60 seconds to leak the unredacted report to CNN.
In the Nixon case they had a tape of the president discussing a cover up with his chief of staff acknowledging that satellites of his were probably connected to the break in and halting an investigation for corrupt purposes. As such upon review of such material the courts decided to pierce both executive privilage and protections against grand jury information
If such evidence existed, then Mueller would not have reached his baseline conclusion that there was no evidence of collusion & coin flip on obstruction. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Nadler and Schiff can go to a SCIF Any time they want to read an unredacted copy.
Besides, didn't Schiff say he had evidence of collusion? These people are diseased.

Funny how the narrative has changed coming from the democrats and the media. At first it was all about RUSSIA! Now you hear nothing about "collusion" after the Mueller Report was released. Instead they invite the Attorney General to "testify" before Congress, yet there were no real questions about the substance of the report, rather it was to give them a platform to smear William Barr and attempt to try to dis-credit him. They even put on display childish antics when William Barr refused to appear before The House Judiciary Committee. This only goes to show that the "hearing" was never serious to begin with. Why is that?
Could it be because the Attorney General is actually doing his job and is investigating what brought this whole thing on? The whole thing is backfiring on them and will eventually expose the fact that it was the democrats that were colluding with Russia. Even the New York Times is publishing stories that show that President Trump wasn't lying when he said that they spied on his campaign. Democrats are getting desperate even to the point of accusing the Attorney General of lying and calling for him to step down. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Why is that? Pelosi won't let it turn into an impeachment hearing unless Republicans start to sign on. For what it's worth, I do think there's a lot of merit to the idea that Trump tried to block the investigation and shut it down through back channels on more than one occasion, and I do consider that to be obstruction. Does that automatically equal impeachment? No, but that sort of investigation is exactly why Congress has the power to hold hearings like this. If Democratic Socialists want to turn it into a partisan shitshow, hey, that's on them in 2020. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
The fact of the matter is democrats are trying to dis-credit and run the Attorney General off because he is actually doing the job. The findings coming up are going to be very damaging to a lot of the democrat swamp.

Barr is about to drain the swamp. Comey and other senior Obama officials should be checking their underwear right about now.

Much like this whole collusion concept it looks to me like the democratic party is reaching yet again. Should the democrats continue to make their entire platform about getting rid of Trump with not a single idea of how to improve this country they are doomed. The democratic party has literally become the party of pandering.

Hmmmm.
If there's no collusion and no obstruction, and if the report was a total exoneration, and if putting Mueller on the stand would destroy the report once and for all by forcing him to answer questions about his agents found to be severely compromised by Democrats, why is Trump fighting so hard to stop all these things from happening? My skepticism meter is way, way into the red. Not too long ago, I was of the mindset that a cursory look into obstruction should be carried out with everything else totally resolved and done with, but now I'm leaning strongly towards the notion that there are things in there that would be incredibly damning to Trump or his family members. He's engaged in the same sort of behavioral pattern that Nixon found himself in shortly before Howard Baker realized he was being played and the proverbial noose was fitted to Nixon's Presidency. Call me a looney lib or launch into some off-the-handle diatribe about how covering up a crime that didn't happen is not a crime, as I'm sure some of you are already doing, but I think there's a lot more here than meets the eye. If this was a total exoneration of a report, why the efforts to make sure no one sees or asks questions about it? |
