Doesn't Metcalf just duplicate Lockett's skills for Seattle? I don't understand though how he works there in scramble drills though, that requires shiftiness which he is not great at.

no.

Locket is smaler, speedy and shifty.  He is the type you would want in the slot or returning kicks.

Metcalf is a big, physical WR...the kind Wilson hasn't had before.  If they develop his routes, specifically getting into and out of his cuts..then they will have themselves a good player.
