2019 Training Camp (Updates)

...

to be fair... he's never been healthy an entire season.

Maybe he needs to rethink this routine cause it hasn't worked so far.

I'm as concerned with his durability as anyone. It's a legit concern.
Him taking it easy for three weeks before camp started doesn't make me worry about it more, though.
Not a big deal at all to me. I'd consider it very normal.

He did the Spring work  - and now he's got 6 weeks to get it together before regular season. That should be enough for a veteran quarterback.

I'm not worried about Foles. First days of training camp, I dont expect or want him to be at 100% now.

We need that December/January.......February? Smile

Looks like good coverage broke it up and batted the ball away for a pick. Good tip drill!

That's what I was seeing too. Sometimes the defense makes plays.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

- Foles said he'd thrown the ball twice since the Spring OTAs and was going to be getting his accuracy back over the next few days of practice.

- It's a new offense.   It is not a new defense.

 - It's a REALLY good defense.

I think the only red flag is he said he's only thrown twice.

Seriously? Our savior isn't practicing every day?

Why is that an "Red Flag"? To whom does he has to throw to, his wife and brother-in-law? Everyone takes an break prior to training camp, especially QBs so that they won't wear out their arm early. There's no issue w/his decision to rest his arm.

Looks like the ground was wet...that's what I'm telling myself...

Ehh, his left ankle turned a tiny bit, but didn't look like anything serious at all.

Grossly under thrown. Waited way to long to throw it. Good ball but the great CBs in the league would pick that ball off 9 out of 10 times.

Wonder if ol Phillip has ever played football. Bc nobody wins in drills without pads. That was actually funny.

Not trying to be rude to the guy, but come on Phil.

I will say a couple of things about Allen from that clip.

1.  He slapped the T's hands down immediately.

2.  He dipped his shoulder well turning the corner.

The first big test comes tomorrow when the pads come on.   With pads, maybe the T rides him past the pocket and out of the play.

Hopefully it won't rain.

Looked like he was just trying to avoid the other lineman and made a goofy looking step.

He hasnt been throwing so i'll take the underthrow with caution.  By week 1, that needs to be cleaned up frfr.

Josh sure seemed like a popular baby name 20-25 years ago. With that said, I'm anxious to see what Josh Oliver brings to the table. It's been a while since we had a fully functional TE. I hope he grows quickly into the role. He has well-rounded positional experience to draw upon. I predict we'll see good things from him during the second half of the season, but still, I have Jace Sternberger regrets. We're going to be hearing good things about that boy in Green Bay.

I’m sure Rodgers will play a large part in that.

If the roles were reversed and Oliver was in GB, he would most likely do well.

A good QB makes everyone better on offense, but Sternberger would perform better than Oliver on either team. He simply has more talent and GB is going to capitalize.

Thats what I want to see Fournette.

I'm looking forward to that first preseason game against the Ravens. I know we wont be running a full O but just want to see what looks they may throw in for a play or two.
