Though marrone was so dejected on that press conference that he probably went full pessimistic mode lol. Limited to walkthrough and individual work at the moment, but still a good news finally. Now hopefully Norwell and Taylor are back soon too. (haven't read their status today at the moment yet) Josh Oliver news as well: https://twitter.com/phillip_heilman/stat...2637910016 I don't think he'll be ready for week 1 by the way they talked about it when he got injured but it's still positive that he shouldn't be out way too long after that...although with hamstring you never know. But a good monday so far, news-wise
I love the fact that Josh Allen is a Jag but part of me wishes they had gotten Andre Dillard somehow.

If the draft would have fallen the way it should have and Allen and Oliver were off the board, Dillard absolutely should have been our pick. Now we can just thank the Eagles for trading up for him and completely screwing over the Texans. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Sounds like the heat is catching up with the players. Good.
Did Conley get the best of Bouye on a play or did Bouye get the best of Conley? If Ramsey was restrained over those two I am assuming Conley probably blocked him into the dirt. So no talk here about Foles telling his Eagle teammates he planned on retiring after the 2017 season due to lingering Elbow issues?
I wonder if he's still having those elbow issues and if that's one of the reasons why he doesn't throw in the off season. Health concerns and the ability to play a full 16 game season are a huge question mark with Foles. I wonder if his elbow will hold up, or if there will be a noticeable drop off as the season wears on..
Hot day at training camp, not playing well and then Jalen jawing at you all day....its gonna happen.
Dont have a problem with it, I want to see them compete. It feels like a real lottery checking in here lately, what will the news be today. Im thinking we may get a Foles drive on Thursday, first 'home game', may be good to get something going. I think well rest a lot of starters again and see if the backups have improved in a week.

I'm sure that's being blown way out of proportion (08-13-2019, 06:57 PM)JagFan81 Wrote: Hot day at training camp, not playing well and then Jalen jawing at you all day....its gonna happen.8As to your last paragraph, that is a no go. Marrone announced the game this week will be approached the same way as last week. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

I wonder if Marrone (finally) is onto something pretty interesting by not playing starters at all in pre-season games. Is this a brilliant idea or monumentally stupid? Will the starters come out ferociously in game 1 and smoke the Chiefs? Or...will they come out rusty and out of game condition?
NH3- say it with me... Time... If nothing else, it shows how ludicrous pre-season games are and how the NFL absolutely rips us off. Maybe Mr. Khan could make a bold statement and not charge ST holders for the pre-season games. One of the better owners in the NFL makes himself the best with that move.
Season Ticket holder since 2004.
Depends on the player and conditioning. One year the Jets ran Curtis Martin pretty steady during preseason when he was considered "over the hill" and he ended up giving the NFL one of his greatest single season efforts.
Players play. Coaches coach. Trust the process I suppose. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? Just my own observation from following the Jags/players on social media:
These guys look way too loose and it's scaring me. I just hope these guys do not get rolled In week 1. Cus I am getting some Gus Bradley training camp atmosphere vibes from them this year |
