I agree.

We're judging Wells on last season's play, so maybe injuries have taken a toll, and he probably has a higher salary than the players the Jags choose to keep. But the other backups have been worse this preseason. At least they cut Wester too.

Reavis has been the 3rd best safety and a solid tackler all preaseason, so that cut makes no sense at all.

Jones has outplayed Bryan and Smoot, but they are both Jags draft picks. Bryan was never going to be cut.

I see Keelan Doss was waived.
Jags should put in a claim

Completely agree.

For some reason, the team seems to like Ogbuehi.

But Jones is the cut that puzzles me the most.  To me, Datone Jones was the most productive lineman this preseason.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Did Walker make the team?!?

Nevermind...I now see him in the cuts list.

Agreed. He played well, when I saw him. Jazz Ferguson got cut by Seattle as well. He played very well when I watched him.

I liked Saivion Smith, hopefully they can get him on the practice squad.

We have a brutal first 3 games of the season.

KC 9/8 @ 1pm
Texans 9/15 @ 1pm
Titans 9/19 @ 8:20pm

I’ll honestly be happy if we can win 1 out of 3. So hopefully we kept the right guys.

The Texans game just got easier, since the traded away Clowney for a 3 and a couple of guys.

It's still a tough stretch.

Plus, I'd rather play the Chiefs in Game 1 rather than later on when they might gain even more momentum/chemistry.

Keep an eye on the RB waiver wire market.

I sense an incoming claim.

Potential releases to make room:

Josh Robinson
Giles-Harris
Ankou
Russell

Agreed on Smith.

Good developmental prospect.

Not a lot of our new offense scheme is on film yet either and Fournette should be able to stay healthy for at least one game. I know it's not a common sentiment but think the Jags win this one.
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Looks like Pryor was placed on IR and not released as originally reported.

I can't for the life of me, figure out how Brandon Thomas keeps making the team. He is lousy, every time they put him in. As for Ogbuehi, all I can say is, "He's the second coming of Ephraim Salaam, so pray he never sees the field." Foles' season depends on it.

I predict the Jags just miss beating KC, kick the [BLEEP] out of the tinhorns, and edge out the flaming [BLEEP] thumbtacks.

2&1 headed into mile high, where they win again.
