Norwell is the worst FA in Jaguars history

Bryce Paup was hurt but never really produced
Aaron Kaumpman was hurt
Norwell is bad but not the worst. We shoulda signed Alex Mack and kept Linder at Guard.

Aaron Kampman was an ANIMAL until he tore the ACL in his other knee I view him the same way as I view Reggie Hayward, dynamic talent who's production/career was derailed by injury.
Championship Formula:

1) Draft Trevor Lawrence!
2) Play good physical Defense!
3) Keep 91% of the roster healthy!
4) ???
5) Blank #2
6) CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

You don't remember Hugh Douglas?  Jerry Porter?

There have been a lot that were way worse than Norwell.

Coach McKay, is that you?

I agree with this, though I am not pleased with the level of play we've gotten from here these 1 1/3 seasons.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

And if I recall.....what was exciting about the FA signing was how good he was at not allowing
cam newton to be sacked.....um yeah Right.....big payday and he went in the pooper.

Yes Kaumpman was an animal. I just said he was hurt so it sucked for us.

Norwell isn’t the worst, but he better step it up. I’d put Cann in there next week if his bad play continues.

I think Laurent Robinson would have been quality if we didn't have that few inches long strip of concrete between the practice fields that blew his brain up. I kinda hope he sued and got lifetime financial security for his family for generations to come cause that was egregious of us.

Don't forget Murlarkey continually sending him out there like he was Reggie Ray.

4 concussions in less than 1 season makes me feel too sympathetic to list him as a free agent bust.

Not the worst but not good. The worst was probably Hugh Douglas.

Beat me to it! He's one of the radio hosts on the sports radio channel here in ATL. I still can't stand to hear his voice. He flat out said it was just a payday for him.?

That name triggers me. Dude got burned for a year straight, and then  had the nerve to tell everyone he enjoyed his “vacation” in Jax. What a complete bum

He's not the only one...Marcellus Wiley on Speak for Yourself has mentioned his 'vacation'  here on mre than one occasion

I've either completely forgotten this story or never heard it in the first place. Can you elaborate? He hit his head on concrete?

Vic made a big deal about it when it happened. Said concrete being where it was near the practice field was among the most irresponsible things he's ever seen.

If I remember right he didn't even allow a single pressure the season before we signed him.
