Quote: Ramsey said on the most recent Uninterrupted podcast "17 Weeks," released Thursday, that he is still experiencing symptoms.

"I mean, with back tightness, I'm sure a lot of guys have back tightness, but when you start to get back spasms and it starts to lock up on you and even sometimes feels like, I guess, a stinger or a tingling sensation in your back, then that's when you have to be super careful with it and cautious,″ Ramsey said.
"You know, rehab it and recover it as best as you can. So that's really the phase that I'm in right now, is trying to manage the spasms and it locking up on me and having that tingly sensation. It can lock up on me at any given time."

I’ve had back spasms and would never describe them as a “tingling sensation”. Anyone else?

So who's going to trade anything for an 'injured" player?

He'll pass medical instantly. It'll be "Jalen seeks healing abilities of miracle worker in parts unknown Tennessee, says his prayers were answered". He'll be on a Jet to his next team within a week.

And with something as serious as a back injury. It's not like he has a twisted ankle or something relatively minor.

The plan seems to be wink/nod he's not really injured. But would you trade for a guy and then pay him $100m if he's willing to pull that? Bizarre advice. Just play dude.

Just remember, a rags to riches billionaire will not let a 20 something man baby dictate his business plan. This will not end well for Ramsey if he continues down this path. If the injury is legit? Value hurt, if the injury is fake? value hurt.

Does anyone find it odd that Ramsey hasn’t spoken to the media since before the Thursday night game? But he has time to do a weekly podcast? I thought all players were required to be available to the media after practice and games during the media availability time.

So, he’s sitting out because his back is tight and sometimes tingles? Yeah... he’s milking this one.

i think we all are curious how "questionable" 20 will be.  Khan's a [BLEEP] billionaire.  He is not going to fold to a punk.  It took me a long time to use that term, but that's how I see Ramsey.  If both the Jag's staff and the NO specialist see as being ready, yet wont play; suspend him.  Hit him in the wallet.  Its the only thing JR will understand.

If he plays, well....never mind anything I said.

time for the media to file a complaint

if hes available for a podcast, hes available for mandated media time

I want to believe him and not label him as a liar but this is WAY too coincidental. He's never missed a game and now could possibly miss a third straight? Just step back and think about that for a second. Just seems really hard to believe. Wasn't there a report from Jay Glazer a week or two ago saying that there was belief he was doing everything possible to skirt the line of not playing but also not to draw sanctions? Seems like that's the case here. Could be wrong but we'll see.

But then again like others have said, why fake it and hurt your trade value? This whole situation is just bizarre.

Hopefully we will see some fines coming if he doesnt play

This is [BLEEP] ridiculous. I'm having a hard time believing there's any truth to this.

It's not a coincidence he hasn't played with the same week he demanded a trade. I guess he's smarter than Bell in that he's trying to milk the situation for what its worth, so that he still gets paid and he's technically 'sitting out'

The bubble has to pop sometime. Either he has to go or the management, including Kahn, find a way to sit him down and comprehend the situation that they are NOT going to trade him and he has to accept that. Or at least play well enough to make a trade more doable or something. This is just a distraction the team does not need right now
