Welcome back for Jaguars NFL Game Day, Jaguars fans!     Our 2-4 Jacksonville Jaguars are in Southwest Ohio to play the 0-6 and winless Cincinnati Bengals. Jaguars both seek to win their first regular season road game in Cincinnati for the first time in 17 years. This game should be winnable for the Jaguars over a winless Bengals team.

Cincinnati statistically are both last in the NFL in offensive rushing yards per game at 56.5 yards, and in rushing yardage allowed by their opponent allowing 184.5 YPG. Bengals Team Defense is 31st above the Miami Dolphins, but their Team Offense is ranked #26.

Jacksonville is currently ranked #16 in the NFL in Total Offense, but #23 in Total Defense.

Jacksonville ended a four-game regular season game losing streak when they defeated Cincinnati by the score of 23-7, in both teams last meeting played at TIAA Bank Field back on November 5, 2017. Blake Bortles threw a 3-yard touchdown pass to Marqise Lee, Jaydon Mickens returned his 63-yard punt return for a touchdown, and Josh Lambo kicked his three PAT's, and his three field goals from 32, 56, and 25 yards to complete the Jaguars game scoring.

Mark Brunell lead the Jaguars to their last regular season road win at Cincinnati, throwing 3 touchdowns passes, each from 12 yards to Kevin Lockett, 9 yards to Pete Mitchell, and 26 yards to Jimmy Smith.  Stacey Mack also scored a 3-yard TD run, Fred Taylor scored on a two-point conversion, and Danny Boyd kicked three PAT'S, for the Jaguars to win 29-15 at Paul Brown Stadium, back on December 15, 2002.

Jacksonville also leads the all-time regular season series over Cincinnati at 12-9-0, in today's 22nd meeting.

I still remember watching jokelll try to play against atkins and watching that poor fool get blown up every play they were facing each other.

Hopefully Norwell does better. Hopefully.

The Bengals can not stop the run (allowing 184.5 YPG), so there is that.
The Bengals also cannot run the ball and are one dimensional (averaging 56.5 YPG, worst in the league).

That said, this game will be played on rubber, not on paper.

Dede Westbrook to play per ESPN

Jaguars WR Dede Westbrook is getting his lower body stretched out on the field right now. He was listed as questionable for today's game because of a shoulder injury but is going to play. Coach Doug Marrone said on Friday that Westbrook wouldn't even need to work out before the game to determine if he was going to play. "We just wanted to be cautious and see where we are when we get to game day, but he won't work out before the game," Marrone said Friday.
