Not sure to what extent ghost outfits would be allowed but with it being close to Halloween it would be a great way to troll the visiting QB.

I brought up how they should do it. Just hand out white paper lunch bags to everyone in attendance with holes cut out for eyes. Everyone puts them on. Bam. Instant trolling.

Remember the Jets will try to adjust whatever they did wrong yesterday. So expecting them to make the same mistakes is foolish.

Bell can dominate a game and the defense will have to contain him like they did Kamara. Darnold can be effective working the quick passing game with Anderson and Crowder along with the dump offs to Bell against the Jags zone.
They have a talented defense that will be highly motivated and getting away from the New York pressure cooker will be beneficial.

The Jets will be looking at getting right and they will view the Jags as a get right opponent. Jags will have to start fast or this is going to be a drag it out game where the Jets are just talented enough to pull it out.

Darnold is terrible. Right it all they want that team sucks. Zero points shows just how bad they are.

It's funny. Against the cowboys, maybe 15% of his throws looked inaccurate.

Against the pats, maybe 5% of his throws looked accurate. 

Night and day contrasting performances. 

The Jags should be able to rattle him some, but I'd expect a performance from Darnold that falls somewhere between his last two outings.

The Jets' schedule has reached its "soft" portion (pause here for cynics to laugh). To win a few games in 2019, Darnold will have to do a 180. This was a Luke Falk-like game.

He is certainly rattled right now, both by his performance, and by the fact the "I see ghosts" comment aired.
How that translates to the field this weekend remains to be seen.
There is a lot of talent on that team. Many (not me) had them as a possible wild card.

Gase is the person whose leadership I question most.

It'll be interesting to see their approach on offense during their first series. Gase will either go play action, max protect with two guys going deep or he'll call a safe play and try to build up his confidence early.

At any rate. They must blitz him. They need to have a lot of activity near the line. They can send the house at him or pretend to send the house at him. But they need to mess with him at the line.

He was a deer in the headlights on Monday. He was sacked once. Just once. But you would have thought he was put in the ground at least 10 times. They were constantly in the backfield though. Plenty of TFL's were made.

Bell is a concern. He showed that "patient" running style he's known for. Again, the linebackers cannot breakdown and leave their lanes and gap assignments. They have to keep everything in front of them.

Maybe Dallas didn't blitz him enough. But I do know they were missing their starting LT and RT and their CB's were horrible in that game. So that's the key in my eyes against the Jets.

On offense they just need to keep leaning on Fournette. Start adding Armstead into the rotation more. Figure out a way to beat their quality safety without having Minshew spend too much time in the pocket. Quick. Everything needs to be quick.

I heard Chris Simms this morning. He said the teams Darnold has trouble with are the ones that consistently disguise their coverage. He the said the Jags don’t do that and basically run about three looks all game. If he is right, we need to break tendency this week.

This is another team we should/ must beat.

Wash tried to do that with his safeties in week one. 
We know that outcome. 
This was part of what he meant when he said he got "too cute."

We don't have the secondary to pull off much disguise right now IMO.  

I think the best thing Wash can do IMO is to dial up pressure with stunts and blitzes. 
I'd send extra guys like, Hayden, Jacobs, Jack even put Allen, Yan  or McCray at SAM to blitz a time or two. 
Darnold will make mistakes with guys in his face often enough.

Every LB but Myles got hurt in the game. I don't remember when though because there were so many injuries.
