If things continue the way they are going with Minshew during the regular season, I would like to shelve Foles and let his collarbone heal fully.

There's no need to rush him back in, especially behind a very suspect offensive line, and risk a major setback with his health.

Minshew has done a phenomenal job holding down the fort - and then some...

Very much this. The team is rallying around him, and benching him could create a new rift in the locker room.

If Minshew is too hurt to play, Foles can come back, but I am not benching a guy who is getting it done and may be the future of the franchise simply because the guy on the bench costs more.

Two good things about this.

1. Should motivate the [BLEEP] out of Minshew to elevate his play to maintain his job.

2. If he fails, we still have hope to look forward to in developing him and Foles starting.

Win-win either way you slice it.

From what I've seen of Minshew, he really doesn't need more motivation than being overlooked in the draft (until the 6th round) and having to battle his way onto this roster.

Right now Foles is 5-8 for 75 yards and 1 TD -- 132 passer rating.   Can't wait to see what he can bring to the table, if given the opportunity.  We may have the best of both worlds here.

Minshew is playing about as good as everyone expected/hoped Foles would play. Let him play until he gets injured in the wildcard game and Foles comes in and does his thing to the superbowl.

This is a weird [BLEEP] situation for this team to be in. My guess would be that they would more than likely wait until after the bye week before making a switch. And it will take two horrible games from Minshew IMHO for them to consider putting Foles back into the line-up. Hoping the kid kills the Jets and tinhorns going into the bye week though.

Need to see him take over a game where he's just connecting on everything and scoring inside the red zone with ease. Maybe a 3+ TD day with 250+ this week and then in London he goes off for 4+ and 300+. I can dream damn it!

Three weeks of practices and resyncing w/the WRs should put NF7 back in the starter's position.

The last couple of games, especially against the Saints, convinced me Minshew isn't quite ready for prime time. He needs more time to grow and study the game. It will be beneficial for the mustachioed one if Foles starts playing again.

If he beats the Jets & tinhorns in a convincing fashion and he has this team 5 - 4 going into the bye week there's no reason to sit him.

No doubt, but Minshew looked unsure, even panicky, at times. He did eh, okay, against the Bengals. But they are the Bengals. We'll see in the next couple of games, but honestly, I'm not expecting him to play with the same gumption as his first two games. I think the ineptness of the O line is in his head.

If they sit Minshew they will do so with heavy emphasis on him keeping ready. Probably will receive more snaps than a normal back-up would be seeing at practice. The confidence in Foles being able to remain injury free has to be mimnimal within the building.

If Minshew goes 2-0 in these next two IMO he should continue to start. Hot hand is the best hand.

Minshew is a rookie and I'm gonna cut him some slack. He has looked very much luck a rookie in the past few games, but that is to be expected. It doesn't mean he won't get better. With that said, he's gonna keep starting until Foles is eligible to return. We invested a lot in Foles and he needs to come back and be the starter, so we know what we have in him. Minshew starting so many games this year, has been very valuable to his development and for once in a very long time, I am confident with our backup QB situation. Let Minshew learn from his starting experience and learn even more watching a veteran like Foles. It's a win-win. We get to see what we have in Foles and Minshew continues development on the season by starting and then learning behind Foles.
