Foles vs Minshew (poll & merged threads)

I agree. With that said, we have a blaring weakness that has/will effect both QB's........ the lack of a solid TE. Foles depended on his TE's a lot in Philly and Minshew utilized O'Shaughnessy a lot when he was playing well. Once we lost our only dependable TE, the tide began to shift. This is something that has to get addressed either via FA or the draft, no matter which QB we choose to go with. That will be crucial to this offense going forward.

The receivers need to win more, especially with no TE to depend on.

They showed a replay later... He was definitely short by a yard.

Yeah I thought it was short as well.

He was down.

But they should have challenged the Harrison INT that got ruled incomplete.

No I don't think they should have challenged that first possible Harrison INT, it wouldn't have been over turned. Was way too close of a call to change the initial ruling on the field (of incomplete), just like the possible Chark TD/no TD call.

Unless there's blatantly obvious proof, they aren't going to over turn calls like that. We would have lost the challenge and a timeout for sure.

I really doubt a Foles trade happens. Maybe next year if Minshew shows he can be the guy.

No a Foles trade isnt going to happen.  Only way I could see us trading Foles is if a team offered a 1st and I dont think a team would do that with him coming off the injury and a contract

Don’t see a snowballs chance in hell of Foles starting now. What Minshew is going to do for this franchise we have needed for YEARS! We FINALLY have a player the entire country can get excited about.

Gotta ride it out with Minshew until he gives you a reason to switch. This is some of the best quarterback play this team has ever seen.

Really reminds me of the 96 days with Brunell. Every game could be a loss or a win and it was edge of your seat game watching. Super super fun times.

Makes football in Jacksonville fun again. Minshew has been nothing but great find for this organization.

Also the whole AFC south are .500 or above. Most compentive division in NFL.

100%

You have to give Minshew every chance to force you to bench him. A couple poor games here and there for a 6th round rookie should be expected.

Until he strings together a couple complete [BLEEP] show 4 INT, 2 pick SIX Bortleslike games, you can't even think about making a switch imo.

If you bench Minshew while hes playing like this you're doing a disservice to the entire locker room. It would piss some people off.

The locker room and the fans.

The energy that Minshew brings is contagious. This would be like if the Cowboys brought back Romo in place of Dak. You have to let Minshew play. If they go to Foles, I think it means they don't believe Minshew is the future.

What if they have decided to go with Minshew, would trading Foles to someone desperate like the bears be worth it?? If we can get something in return.

Maybe after June 1st if you're willing to eat his amortized bonus money.

I think it's too soon to even consider this personally. Good QBs are hard to come by. If you can afford to have two of them for a little while, you do that until tarde value comes your way that's undeniable. In this league, you can bet your [BLEEP] that will happen.

This is going to be a really fun ride!
GMII is "everyman" to so many people , He's exactly the kind of player fans pull for. The underdog, the out of now where guy that simply is so off beat and so down to earth....you gotta love him. Heck the Jaguars are even pulling fans from other teams into our circle.
No how no way do we pull him unless he gets injured and needs to heal.
Might be time to let him play 3 quarters and let NF7 do the fourth just to keep his chops.
