Minshew Mania is back

And it never should’ve ended.

You’re right. Foles should have just stayed on the bench and kept his trade value. If Doug made that call then he needs to go.

We would’ve won had he played all game, hell maybe would of won if Westbrook didn’t pop the ball up.

Build around Minshew. Trade or Cut blonde Culture Man

Imagine if Minshew didn't come into the game where the defense was able to pin their ears back and tee-off with their 25-0 lead.

Dede has to catch the TD pass that hit him square in the hands too.

Regardless, this putrid offensive line has to be fixed in the offseason and Minshew should be the STARTER next year.

Nobody is going to trade for him because he's awful and he has a $33m cap hit if they cut him after this season. This idiot front office backed this team into a terrible position with back to back QB flops... Imagine paying Bortles and Foles $130m... Yikes

Probably still would have lost.  What was obvious to me was how much better he plays when the coaches don't have him as the starter during game planning. He is dynamic but this oline is bad.

I really hope we don't retain these coaches and we really target the right things going forward. We have been just bad for too long. We have individual players but need a team.

Minshew played well given what we saw during the first half! He definitely should start next week. I think that pass to Westbrook was a calculated risk worth taking. Too bad it didn't work out.

I do not want to see Foles start for this team again. Not for the rest of this season. And hopefully not for the next one. Minshew isn't perfect and he still needs to work on some things, but at least he provides a genuine spark.

Foles will stick around for a couple of years as the most expensive backup in the league just so we can continue to amortize his cap hit.

Foles got rushed back too soon. He is a better player than what we are seeing. That said, Minshew is the future. Play him now and see what we have. His ability to do anything behind this o-line is impressive.

Just think what he would do with a decent one.

If there was any doubt that this is Minshew's team, that should be gone now.

Every single part of this team performed better when he came into the game. Offense, defense, and special teams.

I'd be pretty hesitant to say causation = correlation in this instance since it was also 25-0 and Bucs were already at the point where they were willing to trade yards and downs for clock, but it should definitely get Minshew the rest of the season to evaluate. Which is what the rest of the season should have been used for weeks ago, but still...

He would have had at least 2 TDs. Had DeDe not let that ball bounce off his hands and be intercepted.

I think he does indeed provide a spark of confidence to other players.

Not enough to overcome the deficiencies along the o-line and back seven on defense at the moment, but it's a noticeable difference.

I just don't know anymore.

Money isn't reason to start anyone. Ability is all that matters... but there are also intangible factors that go into a player... Minshew has an electricity to him that Nick Foles never has had.

They weren't tracing yards and downs. They were pining their ears back and going after the qb.
