Staff & Front Office Speculation (merged)

Think of it this way....we are doing all these colleges and teams like Carolina and Warshington a favor....because our guys are still employed, some other unfortunate fanbase will not be subjected to seeing any of these coaches on the sidelines next season. We keep them out of the mix, they spend a year or so in purgatory, and teams end up establishing their staffs and these guys are left to nibble at whatever crumbs may fall out the bottom of the toaster.

Ain't nobody hiring Doug or Wash next season anyway. Flip probably gets work as a QB coach (his last successful role)
2019 Free Agents.
Foles: 3 TD, 2 INT (benched) Ryan: 13 ST snaps (IR) Swaim: 13 catches (IR) Conley: 38-632-2 O'Shaughnessy: 14 catches, 2 TD (IR) Goode: 24 tackles, 1 sack (IR) Cann: 13 starts But yea. Some of you still want to keep Coughlin.
O'Shaughnessy was having an OK season before his injury. Conley's doing well on that contract, too.
The others? Not so much.
My wife said she saw khan leaving his yacht and getting his car from her works parking lot. I jokingly asked her if he looked like he was pissed and about to fire someone.

O'Shaugnessy and Cann are a bit silly to make that list DiRocco put together since they were both Jags in 2018, but I get it. The big takeaway here is that we had 5 of these 7 guys hit IR (temporarily or otherwise) I've got plenty of better reasons to want TC gone than dudes getting hurt playing football.

The NFL is just a big good ol boy club. That’s not new. Wash and most of the coaching staff will find jobs elsewhere without any problems.

Just can't see it. And my educated guess is, as much as I respect and revere TC for getting the Jaguars up and running and giving us our glory Glory days, that he is more the problem than any one single other staff member.
Can you guys see Khan giving TC the pink slip and washing the slate completely clean and how will potential hires respond to having Coughlin's intrusive presence looming over them if he doesn't?
I think it’s a foregone conclusion at this point; the only person who has a chance of hanging on is Caldwell. Everyone else is going bye bye.
I don't see how Khan--who claims he loved Ramsey and wanted to keep him--can hang on to Coughlin, who created the issue that resulted in him leaving. That's just me.

I doubt he was the actual driver of said vehicle. Scratch that. She said two guys and they just escorted him to his ride. So unless a driver was there to meet him, he may just had driven himself.
At this point there is no way that I would fire anyone of these clowns. If Khan fired Coughlin, Caldwell, or Marrone escape this embarrassment it's a free early vacation and some accountability for the remainder of this crapfest. The way I see it, it should be a clean sweep in the front office. I was saying this roster was thin in the spring. The team lacks talent should be on Caldwell and Coughlin. The team lacks discipline and looks unprepared every week should fall on Marrone.

That's just me. Just stop. All we (think we) know about it is pure speculation and what Ramsey said happened and we all know how trustworthy he is. Is it probable? Sure, but don't to speak to it like it's fact. |
