Texans are leaning towards Manziel or Bortles

What if St. Louis is entertaining offers from both Cleveland and Oakland and Jacksonville finds out about it? What if the player that those teams are targeting is a player that Jacksonville wants? Now St. Louis can simply drop back one spot, take the player that they want anyhow since they don't want the player that Jacksonville does, and garner an extra pick or so in the deal. That seems like a likely scenario, doesn't it?
We're not trading up one spot for anybody. The Rams are going to trade back with Cleveland and Cleveland will take Manziel. This seems pretty obvious at this point. Only way that doesn't happen is if Atlanta somehow figures out a way to convince the Rams they have a better deal for them than Cleveland's second first round pick this year (they'd have to give up a king's ransom similar to the Skins did and I don't see them doing that just to get Clowney).

We are going to end up trading up to the second to secure Bridgewater, demand is high for him from the Browns and Raiders

According to Caldwell, we also have a relationship with the Rams that could enable this deal to be secured for something as cheap as a fourth round pick.

No, we won't. There isn't even a realistic way to get this accomplished unless we give away a first round pick next year and multiple picks in this draft, which is not happening.

Bridgewater will be there when we pick, and we will pass on him for Clowney.

lol if you think the Rams are going to pass up on a third first round pick or multiple future first round picks just because Caldwell has a relationship with the GM you're being naive.

Exactly, Don't be surprised if it takes a little more. The browns and raiders like Bridgewater a lot as well

Clowney will most like be picked by the Texans.

Even still the gap between Clowney is not as big as you would like to think...

Okay, I'm just going to believe you over the respected Houston beat writer who is certain the team is going to take one of the top QBs.

McClain was the same quack who guaranteed the Houston would take Vince Young over Mario Williams...

Honestly I don't think we trade up to 2, but it's a distinct possibility IMO. Don't brush it completely off.

Personally, the only narrative I'm getting tired of is our resident scout impostor...

We get it.  You love Teddy and everyone else is garbage.  You don't have to post it in every thread, hourly.

It's becoming spam at this point.
