Just a guy doesn't generally set rookie records. That doesn't mean he'll ultimately be a great QB but it is reason to get excited about the dude's potential. Foles is a capable QB but even you, his greatest fan, has to admit he didn't play well when he came back (although probably not as badly as all the hyperbole around Jag Nation seems to think).

He also led the entire NFL in passer rating on passes of 20+ yards (129). In nearly every meaningful category, Gardner Minshew was the best rookie QB.

Totally flawed PFF. Judging on round taken is total bunk. Minshew is the real deal and an eye test shows that he and  the NY QB are the best in the class.
