Has anyone checked out McMillion$ on HBO? It's about the McDonald's monopoly scam being discovered by the FBI in Jacksonville. Great series so far!

I read a longform a while back on the whole thing and my gosh what a dang story. Truly reinforces the idea of trusting no one and ensuring you have multiple layers of checks and balances.

Yeah, for sure. I am interested if there will be a huge class action suit that comes out of this. McDonalds basically ran a new contest knowing there would be fraud so the FBI could get to the bottom of it. 

I mean, I know this was a long time ago and the facts have been there for awhile, but most people were probably unaware of it. It was just so weird seeing Jacksonville so involved in this. I know I spent A LOT of money as a kid chasing those Monopoly pieces!

I remember when the story broke, and it's a fascinating one for sure. It's interesting to see it told by many of the players who were involved. What's really funny is how every time they flash back to Jacksonville and the FBI, they show the building that didn't exist when this case was being investigated. They should show the vacant husk of a building where the FBI was headquartered at the time on the Arlington Expressway.
