You also run the risk of waking up married to a woman whose name you can't remember.....

Welp. I beat that pesky head cold.
It's gonna be 56 and sunny at noon today.
I don't have to do any real work until Monday.

This can only mean one thing:

I'm going golfing.

Glad you’re better, but next time come give me a hand.  I haven’t done “real” work since 2006.

Just don't call current wife by ex-wife's name. Ever. Never ever.

Seriously.

Ever.

Nobody gives a [BLEEP] about their jobs here anymore. And it's disgusting me to the point to where I don't know how much more I can take personally. The "President" of this company wears [BLEEP] clown shoes. There's no communication. People come and go as they please. Moving over to this new building was a tremendous mistake because now everybody can see who does what for a living.

Meaning. We all know who actually works and who actually just collects a salary and does literally nothing here. And it's been festering for awhile. I actually give a [BLEEP] about my job. I actually take pride in my job. I refuse to change my work ethic regardless of whether or not this [BLEEP] place is sinking. AVP's do literally NOTHING when presented with issues in regards to personnel essentially [BLEEP] around within your department.

We've been fighting for new hires for two years now yet they're poaching one of our better employees to work for another department that quite honestly does not need the help or bodies to maintain the little bit of [BLEEP] they do over there all day. They don't operate 24/7. They don't work full time on weekends. It's a joke. I am so tired of this [BLEEP] [BLEEP].

I am at a loss of words. I really don't know what the [BLEEP] I am supposed to do anymore. The market's slow. Volumes are down. But nobody seems to care. We're in the news though! For all of the wrong reasons. A [BLEEP] joke man. It's paining me to no hell's end. I have been here for nearly 12 years and here it is I truly feel it's fixing to bottom out any minute.

We're fixing to see quite a few people gone from this building by the end of March. You can feel that sense of dread in the air. My department is mostly intact. At least for now. I am sure we will eventually be [BLEEP] with from our owners across the Gulf of Mexico at some point.

I just wish people could tighten up a bit though. And just do their [BLEEP] jobs. Regardless of how terrible it's being ran or managed by those who wear [BLEEP] clown shoes.

I know I'm job shopping.  Even considering a move to the Dallas/Fort Worth area to be around my daughters if the opportunity presents itself.  I have not been overly thrilled with the 'new face' of the company myself.  Sounds like we work at the same place.   Rolleyes

I hate to say it but I am probably going to have to do the same thing myself. Can't wait for this day to end already. Ready to grab a 12 pack and nurse this nonsense away for a few hours (hopefully) this weekend. Wish you the best of luck with the hunt. Just don't pick-up any bad habits in Dallas. Such as becoming a Cowboy's fan.

Never happen.  Being from Philly (granted it's been 29 years) originally, I have "Cowboys suck" ingrained in my psyche.

I can't imagine how terrible the response would be if that were to happen. Like...my sick, depraved, and incredibly creative mind can't even begin to imagine the way it would go.

That's called "Rodeo Sex" when you call her by your ex's name and them try to hang on for the full 8 seconds...…….

Your ex wife is still not as bad as her best friend (or so I hear).

Oh crap. My wife told me that she was going to look at some Golden Retrievers. We have two big dogs already. Of course that won't matter to her. Why do I have this awful feeling that there will be (at least) another dog at home when I get there at 4:30? [BLEEP].
