Impossible choice?

Just been watching the Bucky Brooks-David Jeremiah twitter mock draft and they came up with a scenario in which Love and Lamb went early and pushed BOTH Brown and Okudah down to the Jags.

They went with Brown, but which one do you pick?

Okudah and it isn't even close at all. Taking Brown over him would be worth firing someone over

Okudah for sure

I've been following and it would have been an extremely easy Okudah choice for me.

I agree. I would take Okudah. DT/NT is still a priority. But a good corner can buy an average DT/NT another second or two to make a play. I also think we could land a decent DT/NT down the road anyway. I like Leki Fotu & Benito Jones in this draft. Should be there in RD2 and/or RD3.

Probably even later with those guys. Here's the thing though. What if someone calls us looking to wheel and deal up for one of those players? Do you take that deal instead?

I would be tempted depending on the call and value.

Easiest draft choice since.... Josh Allen last season.

Okudah is legit, plays a premium position and is a position of need. Okudah would be a dream.

I don’t disagree that Okudah would be a good choice, but just for the sake of discussion, what happened to the argument that this is a deep CB class and we can find quality starters in later rounds?

Will we find an impactful DT in the later rounds?

If we knew Henderson would be there at 20 I'd rather Brown and Henderson than Okudah and whoever if the top 4 tackles are gone along with Kinlaw which is a good cahmce

If I was rating the players I'd have Okudah and Brown rated about equal.  Both great players

Oddly enough, I think Marcell Dareus is a good prospect comparison.

Because Okudah is as good as it gets as a corner prospect and a way more valuable position than Brown. There a big gap between CB3 and CB1. There is between DT1 and DT3 as well you go with the better prospect at the more valuable position 10/10 times

And there's a crazy deep FA DT class and some nice depth in the draft too.

I am really hoping we can do something in free agency to alleviate our DIRE need to stop the run better.  That would allow us to pick the best players with our draft picks.
