NFL.com - Jags have had Leonard Fournette trade talks for month

#21

I don't hate the guy, but he's probably easily replaceable this year, with a younger, faster, more durable back. We'd be foolish not to at least listen to offers.

Probably get about a 5th round pick for him.

Agree, his lobbying for another QB just bad form.

They won’t take less than a second for him and I think someone would give up a second. They definitely like Akers. I seen they had an interview with him. I think he’d be a great fit he can do it all. Fournette is gone next year because paying RB good money is bad business in the NFL and they want a culture change his recent comments were clearly the final straw. Once him and yan are gone the cancer crew is outta here.

You're being generous.

Simply cutting him would be addition by subtraction so I'd take anything, but hopefully we'll get a 4th or so.

I'm glad some of you aren't the GM. I wouldn't take anything less than a high second.... and I think you could get that for him.

Soooooooo, another Caldwell 1st round pick off the roster?

I think we should continue letting this guy draft!

Oh no, remember anything bad is Coughlin's fault. Even if something bad happens in this draft will be Coughlin's fault.

Remember Beadles? yep, Coughlin's fault... Joeckel too.

Can you imagine sucking this badly at your  job and continuing to remain employed? Tony and Shad are as clueless as they come when it comes to sports brain.

Welp! Just an ok back and did not come close to living up to his draft status.

I thought it was pretty widely accepted that Fournette was a Coughlin pick no?

The good news is we can get an equal back in the 4th/5th.

TB definitely seems like they’d be interested. Wonder if that player we’re interested in is OJ Howard?

They are not going to pick up his 5th year option, so this would be his last year. He would then leave after the season in free agency. It would be highly likely the Jags would receive no compensatory pick for him, as with over $100m in cap room, the Jags are likely to be net heavy acquirers in free agency. It would make sense for DC to trade him now and acquire value if possible.

I'd do that trade straight up! Fournette is gone after this season anyway. Might even throw in one of our 5th rounders.

Just by people here.

Let me guess, DC wanted Mahomes or Watson, right? DC brought Calais and Bouye. Also it was Khan who hired Bradley, nothing is ever DC's fault  Rolleyes
