Making him sign and play out his tag will be the most entertaining part of this season.
[BLEEP] Yawnick. We didnt get the value he thinks he's worth. He either plays or sits now. His loss either way. He's a one trick pony asking for shire horse money.
Next time he says something smart on twitter somebody just needs to drop a "Child Please" response on him and be done with it. Tired of his whiney [BLEEP] B.S. He's embarrassed himself at this point. Too much ego in the way. ![]() "What do I know of cultured ways, the gilt, the craft and the lie? I, who was born in a naked land and bred in the open sky. If this article is true, I am irritated as hell with both sides.
https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/20...20-roster/ Quote:The relationship between Ngakoue and the team turned sour last summer when the Jaguars offered him a deal that averaged $19 million annually. He sought $20 million annually and held out for 11 days in training camp before playing last season for $2.025 million. (emphasis added) On a basic level I know I have no say in this. I know a million dollars is a lot to Yan, and may be a lot to Khan since he's signing the checks. But damn, in the worl of NFL contracts, a million a year doesn't seem insurmountable at all. I'm sickened by the idea that a million a year caused all of this. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

I think we might get more interest now, because teams might think the Jags will be desperate to get something for him.
I really hope they stay strong and insist on that first round pick and look for 2021 picks, but if you're Dave Caldwell and you know this might be your last draft if things don't go well, what are you going to do?
Funny seeing his tweets about this all being part of a “higher plan”.
After being drafted by the Jaguars, given every chance show his worth, given a very fair contract offer and then finding nobody else wanted to trade for him, maybe he should take the big hint from up above and conclude the “higher plan” was for him to stay in Jacksonville? And maybe accept the plan to move was actually HIS plan?

This is the equivalent of me telling my employer who is a global company with 400,000 employees and annual profits in the 30B range that they should give me an extra 100K a year because they won't miss it. Yan and his agent are dumb. Bottom line. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
Maybe they can let bygones be bygones and we have a year to really develop K'Lavon in a situational role behind Yan for a year

But we put our best foot forward not once but twice, and I hope he sees the light that Jacksonville is a good spot, and it could at the end of the day be his only option.” He received a fair contract offer. No other team is willing to offer the same. The contract we offered paid higher annually than what he would make on the franchise tag. If his main concern is about “feeding his family” what is the hold up?

Coughlin pissed him off and at that time our FO backed Coughlin up. Once the writing was on the wall for 'ole Tommy, Yannick and his emotionally charged stance was already ruffled. Unfortunately for him, he's not in a position to take such stances and to double down on them. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! Now his pride won't let him back down. I expect he will when and if those weekly tag paychecks of about $1.1 million are not making it into his bank account.

Said it before, Yan has the worst agent in sports. I wonder if he's gonna sit out and lose the 18 mil

One thing is certain he picked the wrong agent and Yans an idiot if he hasn't figured that out by now
These are basically the teams with cap space left to take on Yannick at the Franchise tag or a new contract.
