Secondly, if that was indeed Reade's mother, she did not actually refer to a sexual assault claim.  She just said her daughter had a complaint.  She also said her daughter did not go to the press out of respect for the unnamed senator she worked for.  Respect for a guy who assaulted her?  

This is not exactly a smoking gun.

As for my own opinion, I didn't support the Kavanaugh accuser, either, because it was uncorroborated and the timing of the accusation was pretty suspicious.  This seems to be the same thing.

Now if you're saying the media is hypocritical, you can make that argument all day long, about all the media, not just the mainstream media.  But if you're supporting Trump and you say Biden should withdraw because of this, you are being extremely hypocritical.

I did say Kavanaugh shouldn't be on the court, but it had nothing to do with the sexual allegations.  The man lied to the Senate multiple times, more than 10 years prior.

I was originally of the position that Tara Reade was lying just like CB-F. With new evidence this has a lot more meat, compared to CB-F where friends of her's at the time couldn't recall any such thing. Some other huge differences:

1. Tara Reade filed a complaint at the time.
2. Tara Reade actually remembers the time and place it happened.
3. Tara Reade is not a fanatical political opponent of Biden. She was part of his senate campaign at the time.

Yes, the biggest smoking gun is the way the MSM has handled the two almost-identical cases. After the NYT finally had ONE article about it they actually cut out the part about Biden caressing many other women and children at the behest of Biden's campaign. I saw a post from 2 weeks ago that showed CNN had 150 articles on CB-F's accusations and zero on TR's. That number may have changed in two weeks, still that's an incredibly huge level of partisanship.

First off, Trump never claimed he did it himself. He said "you" could do it. We don't know if Trump actually did it or if he was just repeating what someone else told him,but he did not brag about DOING it.

Secondly, Trump's statement was that they would LET YOU do it. It's not sexual assault if consent is involved. Tara Reade claims she did not give consent.
