Actually even better than I thought. They're not rushing me out there. They're going to give me up to six months to get out there so I can get the house situation resolved. The other nice reason I didn't mention is that I countered their salary offer and they agreed to my counter. As a matter of fact, they agreed so quickly I probably should have asked for more. Oh well, I'm very satisfied with what I got.

Every now and then I get a “tricky” estimate. And if I price it and they quickly say “yes” I say “oh [BLEEP]” in my head. So I know the feeling. Perhaps, in the future, when they say yes before I’m done I’ll add in “well that’s for “x” only. But to include “y” it’ll be....”. Lesson to be learned for all of us

Anyways. Good news all around, man. Happy for you. Just don’t think about what you could’ve done with that extra 5-10k a year.
