I think you underestimate how ANTIFA works. I am not a conspiracy guy. It is a well funded, educated group of people that prepare to take advantage of opportunities. They want a revolution. I am not saying ALL violence is caused by ANTIFA, but they are no doubt agitators.

I don't disagree with anything you said - but the possibility of left wing agitators is just as prevalent as right wing agitators in this scenario. Replace ANTIFA with White Nationalists and everything you said is still equally true.

I have really considered the white supremacist and the police angle. They have just as much incentive to cast aspersions on the protests (at least initially). I thought the original video I posted here was very shady, and it didn't seem like ANTIFA to me, based on the way the dude acted toward the black man. However, after that, I have watched several videos and it's looking more and more like ANTIFA as the primary antagonist, especially when comparing tactics. It looks exactly like the tactics I was taught and mirrors what I've seen in other ANTIFA videos. They seem to be well funded. Additionally, they are deploying more advanced tactics like staging bricks in planned areas of protest. I find it far fetched to believe white supremacists know where the planned protests are happening. The one piece that really sealed the deal with me was the use of medics and water bottles. This is something ANTIFA has used for years.

Ultimately, I think Occam's razor applies here. For me to believe white supremacists are the largest agitators of the violence, I would have to believe 1) ANTIFA decided to sit this one out. 2.) White Supremacists didn't want any peaceful protests, so they mobilized immediately to start trouble. 3) The studied and adopted ANTIFA's tactics to frame them as well. 4) Worked and conspired with young blacks and progressives to incite the riots, using a shared language and hiding their southern twang.

The other scenario: Young people who have received training and experience, who take advantage of any civil unrest, who believe that the destruction of the capitalist system is paramount, used that training and experience to take advantage of civil unrest and attack capitalist institutions. Ad to the fact that they know where the protests are going to happen and they are well funded and defended.
