The call was to 911, there is a recording, there is a police report, and there were at least 4 neighbors out looking for him after he ran off. It was also reported a gun was stolen from McMichael's trunk in Jan. on the 911 call.

I beginning to wonder if there were any mental issues going on. To be chased off multiple times from the home and yet still return are not actions from a sane person.

Ah, I see the discrepancy. The home owner called the non-emergency number, Jethro called 911.

I'm gonna start calling Ahmaud Tyrone Washington...

Oh wait, no I'm not... because I'm not an idiot.

Citizens arrest law. Serving the black community.

Interesting. Anyone have the link to the video he's referencing? I would like to watch it in it's entirety, and I didn't see it linked anywhere.

I remember that citizens arrest video. It was all over the place.

We're officially in the Prosecutor/Defendant bashing period. In any case, looks like the skeletons from a few different Georgia police departments are coming out.

Not much else in the video.

From news that is coming out, I'm betting that the story/testimony/evidence presented in a court of law is going to differ greatly from that presented in the court of media/public opinion.  Don't be surprised if there is an acquittal or at least a move down to lesser charges.

I'm thinking the same thing. I truly despise our media.

We all knew they would, it's not like Georgia is all that different from 1925.

In a quote "stunning twist", the video was released by McMichael himself, believing it would exonerate him and his kid. I guess he didn't think all the way through his cunning plan to show the world exactly how they dealt with that troublemaker and is really surprised that people think they are culpable for killing the guy they killed.

A couple of Arbery's encounters with police have surfaced on YouTube and LiveLeak.
I won't link to them here because of the profanity.
On LiveLeak, he gets arrested at WalMart for stealing a 65" TV
In the other he gets tazed for non-compliance.

How does one steal a 65" TV? That is hilarious.

In Walmart? You just get the box in your buggy and walk out the door. If they try to stop you, you fake getting hurt and sue them.

That's essentially what he did.  Tried to roll it out the front door then ran when he was asked for the receipt.

I'm on my way to work this morning, listening to the radio as usual. Local news blast still framing this as "killed while jogging" sad.

Yep, it's past time they called it a lynching like they should've from the start.

I'm not posting the next tweet for offensive content, but an eyewitness told the investigator he heard one of the suspects refer to the deceased as a "bleeping" [racial slur]

Now we are starting to get facts from what was said in the interviews. With them saying they didn't know if he had stolen anything, it could invalidate their citizen arrest claim. Being racist isn't a crime, but committing a crime because of it adds to the crime. Need to see more statements and full context, but facts are looking more like it could be racially motivated.
