Well, I don’t considered myself rich.  But I make over 100k mowing lawns for the old, rich and lazy. That’s after paying employees and the misc things I need to pay for running the joint.   My wife is actually the bread winner.  Neither one of us were “given” a damn thing.  Somewhere I feel that falls into this back and forth.  So for my hard work and hers, I give a big middle finger towards the above comment.

I doubt either party will universally oppose the companies you copied/pasted (Apr 11, 2019) ... The company's listed employ middle class, and upper middle class tax payers (by the thousands). Also those same companies donate heavily in their surrounding communities. I want to take this moment to mention that I do appreciate these companies for their support of the American Workers, and their families. Who wouldn't?

So not wealthy = little means.  That's the most idiotic thing I've ever heard.  What exactly do you consider "wealthy"?  A large sum in your bank account?  A big yacht?  Living in a mansion?

I am by no means "wealthy" if you're going to judge it like that.  However, I do happen to own some property that I worked for, have a pretty good bank account, and most importantly a good group of family, friends and co-workers that I interact with daily.  I started from a very modest upbringing, went to little-to-nothing (monetarily) when I married my wife and together we managed to raise 3 wonderful and productive children and continue to nurture our one grandchild.  Today we don't "struggle" to make ends meet and we are very happy and thankful for what we have.  By my standards, yes I am wealthy rather than being of "little means".

1.  While President Trump was born into a family with money, he has made his own destiny.  I don't fault him for being a multi-millionaire or billionaire.  There is nothing wrong about that.

2.  I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "socially mobile", but if you mean that a poor black kid raised by a single mother in a ghetto could one day be a highly respected neurosurgeon, then yes it is possible here in America.  Exhibit A is Dr. Ben Carson.  There are many other examples of this both publicly known and not publicly known.

The bottom line is that Free Market Capitalism and a Democratic Republic are the best forms of economy and government in the world.  The U.S.A. being one of the youngest countries in the world has proven that.  There is far less poverty in this nation than in any other.

My point was why a non wealthy person would happily support a rich person dodging taxes that rich people avoid due to complex tax arrangements they create to avoid tax. This isn't just a US problem, it is worldwide and needs more attention rather than getting distracted by building a wall etc

Finland which is world renowned for having the best education system, has no fee paying schools.
