Week 13-2020 Games
|
I actually have today off and can watch/follow the games a lot more closely. I wonder what will end up happening in today's slate of games. One matchup I am interested in following is the Cleveland/Titans game. I wonder if Cleveland will be able to beat them and get one step closer to making the playoffs. I hope so.

The Browns look great. They have actually flown under the radar with the media this year after being overhyped at times the first couple of years when Baker was the QB. The second year he was QB ended up being a very disappointing season for them. But this year has been a big turn around for them. Kevin Stefanski has been doing a great job with them (and should be a COY candidate IMO). They look a lot better and he is doing a nice job of utilizing their talent, which coaching staffs prior to him failed to do. They are dominating the Titans and are now only like one or two games away from making the playoffs. This is the best game they've had in a long time and Baker is playing very well. I am impressed with them and look forward to watching them make the playoffs.
I'm glad that the Browns won against the Titans. But that score ended up being much closer at the end than it should have been given how well the Browns played in the first half. Nonetheless they won and they are one win away from clinching a playoff spot since 2002. That's is great for them, I have followed them before in the past and they are definitely a long suffering fan base. I hope they can make the playoffs of this year and and maybe at least win a game.
Bill Belichick is really taking it to the Chargers today. He is like 20-5 against rookie QB's. And as a talented as Justin Herbert is, it's not enough when his team is poorly coached. Today the Chargers special teams are really messing up, and the Chargers continue to make blunder that prevent them from having a much better record. Which they really should have given how well Justin has been playing. But even talented QB's have a hard time overcoming coaching staffs that make poor decisions and big deficiencies on their team. Hopefully things will get better sooner than later for Justin and the Chargers. He deserves to have a good team.
Jalen Hurts is in for the Eagles and threw his first TD on 4 and 18. It does seem like he has injected some life into the Eagles offense. He's stayed in longer than he usually does when the team inserts him for a drive here and there in games. I wonder what will end up happening after this game, regarding who starts at QB for the Eagles. Their division is still up for grabs even though the Giants and Washington Football team are looking better than them right now. Speaking of the Giants they are actually winning against the Seahawks with Colt McCoy at QB. They have been playing better as a team these past few games. It looks like they are finally starting to gel more as a team.

Drew Lock sucks. Bortles gives them a better chance to win.
How many strikes does Elway get?
Carr in disbelief about the bad defensive call by the Jets on the last play which handed the Raiders the game. Gase isn't happy because while many think the team is tanking, he'll most likely be out of a job by the end of the month.

Are any of you guys able to watch the Steelers game? Two and Half men were on where I live. And other folks say they got judge Judy. That's unfortunate, I would have liked to have seen this game live. But it is coming on again on the NFL network as a repeat pretty soon if anyone wants to record/catch it. The Bills/49ers game is also starting right now.
