Yes, I agree.  And in my opinion, the kind of help Allen and Chaisson need is pressure up the middle.  That's why a lot of mock drafts have us taking a 3-tech with our second first round pick.

I'm on board with that DT drafting.
If not one of those first three or four picks, then a splash FA signing. Need someone next to Hamilton that is a real threat. 

Allen and Chaisson will benefit greatly from an interior disruptor (and from a competent secondary.)

Chaisson is going to get it. He has a winnable skill set
1. Athletic as hell
2. Measurables out the wazoo
———— and most important
3. Incredible work ethic. He wants it

He has things you can’t teach, and wants to work at the things you can coach: technique, pass rush moves, and experience. Put all that together and you’re looking at a guy who will POP. I wasn’t high on Chaisson, but after seeing how much he improved in the last quarter of the season, I have no doubt about his future.

I disagree, its our biggest need imo other than QB and he is already becoming one ot the better lineman in the league not to mention his upside is as high as any.  Would be huge for our dline.  I doubt the Jets would do it anyway

Assuming it's a sign and trade and we're guaranteed Q long term, I don't think a 1 in the 20s, a 2, and a 4 is a crazy ask. He's really really damn good.

I thought he meant that too, and as long as he came with a long term extension I'd strongly consider it. Getting a young, proven top 5 talent on a long term deal would be worth a bottom half 1st, 2nd, and 4th to me. I'd haggle and have it be the Vikings 2nd though.
