I listened to it, although I didn't hear him bring Curry's name up, but I might have missed it. 

He did explain the Jaguars were not responding to his inquiries about costs and other things, which threw red flags for him. Perfectly understandable. I also liked his idea that Lot J and stadium upgrades should have been negotiated in the same package. He supports the idea of a dome over the stadium, which is exactly what it needs. Several times he reiterated his ardent support for keeping the Jaguars here and said he bears the scars for supporting them in the past. His main concern with this deal is the lack of transparency from the Jaguars and the development company (whose name escapes me right now).

The most important assertion he made is the Jaguars are not leaving because Lot J didn't pass. 

He's a politician, so take it for what it's worth.

You're right Currys name wasn't brought up, I just assumed he was aware of the details based on the other criticism that he was giving away a sweetheart deal.  Believe Cordish group is the development company.

A family friend of ours has been involved in these negotiations.  Had always been told second hand that Shad basically went to the city and had always used the threat of moving the team if the city wouldnt play ball.  So when Carlucci said "he has it on good authority they won't leave", I'm not sure what that good authority is.  Sounds like this is a game of chicken.  Hopefully we as Jags fans don't lose.  

I'm reaching out to get more information from our family friend to verify if the team was holding back on all the financial details.  I don't know how the negotiations could have gotten this far if no one in the city had any idea of what those financials are.  I tend not to believe politicians.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

Curry says the only two genuine conscientious No votes were Ferraro and Becton who have been against it since the beginning.

Curry also says on councilmember told the Jags he would vote Yes then voted No. Childish. Curry also says to watch the political arc in the next few years of those who voted No. They're looking to leverage their opposition to him, and Lot J, as political gain.

Councilman Ron Salem, who voted Yes, says that well over 90% of his constituent feedback for the project were against it. Salem says that the proponents of the project did an inadequate job of promoting it.

Development of property adjacent to the river is definitely a more sustainable option. The area would be considered "viable" even if (at this point when) the Jaguars leave.

These six members of the council just slapped Mr Khan across the face. If I am Mr Khan I could not relocate this team quick enough at this point. How many times must he extend the invitation to the city to step out of it's Cowford reputation and be rejected? Any decision Mr Khan now makes as far as relocation is concerned was just sealed with a stamp of approval by six lousy rednecks that cannot stand the thought of progress for this city. If you own a business or property in this city they also smacked you in your face as well. You should let them know about it .

Like I said yesterday, Tommy Haz.. The guy is a real piece of work.. I have no idea how he keeps getting re-elected. I can almost guarantee you that he's the one dictating the "Nay" votes..

It was a way overpriced cookie cutter design on a postage stamp size of land. Lamping already said they were going to pivot back to the shipyards, which (along with a new stadium/reno) should have been the goal all along. In a few years everyone will be glad this fell through.

Putting up Lot J before the stadium seems like putting the cart before the horse. The stadium is the key to keeping the Jags in town.
