The dishonesty from Khan a few weeks ago is the most worrisome part. He had no reason to deny he talked to Meyer about coming back to coaching.

Probably a professional courtesy for the coaches he'd already scheduled for interviews before he and Meyer had come to an agreement. Don't get bent out of shape.

I still don't think it's going to be the best hire, but it's the biggest and most exciting so I guess I am past the bargaining phase. Shad said during his day one press conference he wanted a Jaguars game ticket to be the hottest ticket in the league...well a Lawrence and Urban duo is the closest we could come to doing that.

I am very less than enthused about the rumored GM and OC candidates though. Urban with a side of Baalke and Linehan would take a whole lot of the luster away.

2) Hype is wrong and crow will be served in regular portions or...
3) team stays or leaves due to city and/or team success.

Were apparently on different pages.  I was just trying to thwart your attempts to keep mikesez around.  I’m not 100% on board with Meyer, but am optimistic about it. Also optimistic about he and TL and the future of the team/city/fan base.
