Why use our ammo to kill two birds when we can use our second most valuable asset on one need.

There is a high possibility he is the BPA when we pick at 25. More money than I'd have liked, but they must see upside in him. I like the Ford pick-up since he looks like a special-teams stud and was very inexpensive. The Agnew move is my least favorite so far. He looks like a good punt-returner but the contract seems too high. Hopefully they will sign a couple of bigger names like Henry, J. Johnson or Golliday. It will be interesting to see the details of the contract. I think the amount being publicized by the agent assumes he maxes out on incentives.

There are many good players in free agency to upgrade the roster. It stinks to see certain players being signed, but the deals will generally become better value for the teams as free agency goes on. Some of the "splash" guys are likely asking for the moon at the moment. They will become more realistic as the limited free agency pool of money begins to shrink.

Meh, Judon and Johnson III went cheap...and I'm not even a big Judon fan. I think you could easily argue that 8M for the DT and 7M for the returner we signed were the two biggest overpays so far. Shelby Harris for 3/27. We could have had him for a measly million per year than the overpay for RRH.
Pretty uneventful day so far. Seems like jags are shopping with food stamps;.

Not names I really knew much about so far but kind of like what I hear about Robertson-Harris. The other two it looks like we overpaid a lot for.
Meh... free agency isn't typically the way to build a team. Take the cautious approach and wait for the right player to come.
There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't. (03-15-2021, 05:29 PM)jaguarmvp Wrote: Pretty uneventful day so far. We actually have done that many past off seasons... ![]()
