It's clear that the team is adding DL talent. Taven and Abry should probably call someone to put their houses on the market.
Think about trying to run on a front of
Brown-Alu-Hamilton Top 5 run D easily (03-16-2021, 05:19 PM)JagFanFirst Wrote: Always kinda liked Abry Jones. Serviceable player. Not really, you need to be able to be a beast in the run game and draw double teams if you're a NT, eat space, something he can't do
Have we given any thought to signing a vet QB? I'd love to have someone who can mentor T-Law.

Front office has redeemed itself in the last hour. These look like good deals that won't hurt the team salary-cap wise. Would have loved to have picked up a quality safety and TE, but you can't have everything

PS: I have a signed Alualu jersey from his previous stint. Who coulda guessed that I'd be able to break that out again. ;-)
I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

Jones matured greatly during his 5 seasons with the Lions. He will do what it takes to play to the best of his ability, including in the off-season. Two things in particular Marvin Jones does very well as a WR on the field is his timing on deep balls and catching sideline receptions. Two late season ultra bogus Officiating calls robbed Jones of another TD vs. the Vikings and a spectacular red zone sideline reception vs. the Packers two weeks earlier.
Was Taven at UF when Urban was there? That might prevent him from being cut.

We have average CB's now, but our top three guys are coming back from injury. That doesn't bode well. Our run defense should be better though. |
