Urban has pointed out multiple times that the kid building out from the offensive and defensive lines.

So, either they have Travis E. on such a higher tier than anyone else; or they must feel reasonably confident that they can scheme their offensive line and the 3-4 defensive front into success with guys on the roster.

That is just ignorant and unrealistic. We have bad personnel.

I'm not saying that. I'm just trying to understand their thinking.

Based on all the released mocks out there, they would have sprinted up to draft Barmore or Jenkins who weren't supposed to be there at #25 pick if they were really worried about the offensive tackles or interior DL.

Gene Smith never took the best player at any position. Travis Etienne is considered by many to be the best RB in the draft.

Some of you seem to think this is a bad pick - however, keep in mind that the top teams have more than one really good RB. After James Robinson, we had NOTHING. That ain’t gonna cut it in this league and you guys know it.

Now, as much as I really like Rondale Moore, he would’ve been the wrong pick here because Jacksonville has WRs for days. You guys will likely get what you want at #33.

Also keep in mind that the top teams have more than zero offensive tackles that can actually pass protect, and more than zero defensive tackles that can stop the run And penetrate.....

The Jags have made some good moves in FA so it’s not like they didn’t do anything. Cam Robinson isn’t perfect, but he is by no means a terrible OT. Frankly, Penei Sewell is the only OT in this draft that would’ve been a dramatic upgrade and we had NO shot at him. As for defensive line, we have the Edge rushers... we just need DTs - and there are PLENTY of those available.
