We traded Josiah Scott to the Iggles in return for Jameson Houston and a sixth rounder

Good move in my opinion Scott might be an OK player, but he would have a tough time making the team.

He's no Tim Tebow!

This was a really good move by the team. On top of the fact that I hate small corners like Scott, we basically got a 6th round pick for a guy who was in all likelihood, gonna get cut. If the new guy ends up making the team, that's just a bonus. Getting a draft pick for basically nothing, is the real prize.

You'll miss Scott when you see Campbell or Herndon in the slot.

Because Campbell isn't built to play the slot.

No, I won't. I don't know who will be playing the slot, but I'll take Griffin, Henderson, Campbell or Sidney Jones playing that position over a dwarf CB like Scott any day of the week. Scott was most likely not gonna make the team anyway and if he did, he wasn't gonna ever see the field, unless we had a slew of injuries.

Have you seen him play in the slot?   You don't have to have  guy 5'9 or 5' 10 play in the slot. I don't think it will be one guy only playing nickel.  I see our corners moving around and playing multiple spots.

Scott was the best slot CB on the roster, just another stupid Meyer move.

Good trade to get some future value, given Scott wasn't going to make the team. Not sure why they bothered to pick up Jameson Houston though. In some draft time reporting on Houston, he supposedly did not test well, running a 4.58 40, and lacks the quickness to play in the nickel.

Yep. Saw it on Facebook. Had to laugh seeing a comment saying 'weve traded a bum for a bum and a draft pick who will be a bum'

Scott should've never been drafted to begin with. He's too short. You just think he was the best slot corner on the roster, because all of our corners sucked except Sidney Jones and he got hurt. That doesn't mean Scott was good. It just means he sucked less than the other guys we had available at the time. Now, we have brought in much better options.

Since when was Scott the best nickel corner on the roster? Lol.  Pff has him a grade of 46 so they weren't very impressed either
