Possible O-Line Help?

Would you do it for the right price?

Getting as much options on o-line for lawrence to me makes sense. Only 5 sacks allowed, 6 penalties last season and started every game last year.

Depending on the price...yes.  Even if you assume our starting Ts are acceptable (a generous assumption to say the least), we have little depth.  I am hopeful Walker Little will supplant one of the starters at T, but we'll still need an adequate backup at the other T.

I'd like an O-Line with

Little-LT
Norwell
Linder
Cann
Moses-RT

Of course that would mean we'd have a 13 million dollar guy on the bench (move him in to replace Cann?) but if it means better protection and depth than what we currently have, I'd be for it.

Worst to 1st.  Curse Reversed!

The issue though is how many OL are the Jag's carrying on the full roster. So that means cutting Taylor or trading Robinson, unless you think either or both can also be back up Guard/Center.

If you plug in Moses, you're def looking at a Taylor move to RG, IMO.

If Taylor can't beat out Cann at RG, he may have seriously been a bad pick or he's actually one of those tackles that just can't play guard. Personally I think that is more rare than ppl like to admit. I think most tackles are capable of the switch.

Moses is a pure RT. I'd like to see what Walker Little is, before before bringing in a pure RT. Maybe Little ends up beating out Taylor for the RT position, but not Robinson for the LT spot. Then what? If we trade for Moses, we'd have too many RT's and not enough LT's. If we added another OT, it would have to be for a guy that could be an upgrade at either LT or RT. That is why I was so adamant about getting Riley Reiff. He would've upgraded either spot.

Excluding injuries, our O-Line is set. Let it be.
