It keeps getting better and better. Meyer looking like the smartest guy in the room again. If true this offense will be that much more dangerous and deadly in short yardage situations

LOL.  How does this make him the smartest guy in the room?  Funny.

I'm not mad at any fans who want to be optimistic about Tebow and/or Meyer, but that tweet says basically nothing.

Dianna Russini talked to some unnamed people "around the NFL" and those people supposedly have their own opinion about what they think Urban Meyer might do with Tim Tebow  - one day after Urban Meyer clearly stated it's too soon to know what he might do with Tim Tebow.

And does this make Belicheck and Sean Payton dumb because they didn't use Tebow in that role?

Sorry but I don't want Trevor ever leaving the field. It was dumb when the Saints took Brees off the field and it'll be dumb if Meyer does the same. Any "gadget play" Tebow can run, Lawrence can run it better.

The actual smartest guy in the room did try that, determined that it didn't work, and moved on.

Lolol, it's comical you make the statement does this make BB and Payton dumb because they didn't use Tebow like this yet you go on to say what Payton did was dumb when he got a lot of success from using Hill they way he did.  Tebow never played for NO and BB had the GOAT, although NE offensive coordinator did get Tebow in the first.

Missing the point per usual.

Claiming Meyer is the smartest man in the room because he may (most likely won’t) use Tebow in short yardage situations is insinuating that he’s smarter than other coaches. More specifically, other coaches who were too dumb to use Tebow correctly.

And I think Payton is one of the brightest offensive minds in NFL history but he clearly has a crutch when it comes to Hill. Saints should have never taken Brees off the field because he keeps the defense guessing with an expanded playbook.

And if the Jags take Lawrence off the field for Tebow, it will be a mistake. Tebow can’t do anything better than Trevor so why bring in a gadget QB who isn’t even better at gadget plays than the actual QB? It’s a dumb move.

What's actually comical is the way you hop on the slightest compliment to Tebow and blow it completely out of proportion, or intentionally misrepresent it.  Then you have the nerve to say I'm 'getting my excuses ready' when you use every excuse in the book to explain why Timmy isn't (or wasn't) in the league anymore.

This, in a nutshell, is why Tebow apologists are almost intolerable.  It's like they live in some alternate universe.

I'm a Gortor fan, dude helped win us 2 NTs, a Heisman, and took over a 1-4 to help lead his team to the playoffs and a playoff victory with over 325 passing yards and still has a winning record in the NFL.  Most of the ones that don't like him on here is because he whooped their team on Saturday for 4 years straight or whenever they played him.  Are all the media Tebow apologist as well because they are the ones that want him the most?

I just want to see Tebow and Robinson or Etienne run that option a few times like he did in Denver and at Florida

I have zero college allegiances.  He was a great player in college.  I enjoyed watching him play.  I thought it was great when they won the championship.  This isn't college.  There are a lot of great college players that are not good NFL players.

Case and point.  Thank you.

Is the Broncos a college team and all those defenses that he played against that year with McGahee and had the number 1 rushing offense in the league?

Stop with this whole Taysom Hill 2.0 nonsense. If he makes the team, it will be as a TE, that is it. No one holds a roster spot for a 5th TE just to have him run on short yardage. If he makers the team he will have to be one of 4 TEs to make the 53 man roster.

Have you been paying attention to the league as of late?  Teams are running these offenses much more and QBs are running the ball more.  He was made for today's type of offenses.  Just like if Trask would of came out 30 years ago he would of been a top 5 pick but he's not athletic so he fell to the late 2nd

Are you truly that dense?

You Tebow worshippers really do live in an alternate universe where reality is just a vague concept.

We don't care about his college career... at all. In fact, my College team made poor Timmy boy cry and Urban quit in the first place... this isn't about College.

This is the NFL.. where every player is big, every player is strong, and every player is talented.. Tebow is 2 of those things. Deal with that and move on.

That's how much he hates to lose.  You will be the one crying if he makes that team.  If he wasn't talented he wouldn't be getting a chance out of the 90.  He impressed the scouts enough to get a chance so let's see if he is good enough to make the 53, it remains to be seen

No.. he got a chance because he lives in the same Country Club as Urban Meyer and they are buddies.
