While your motivations may be pure, we aren't on page 63 after only the 3rd or 4th day of OTAs because people are upset that the 5th string TE and 90th spot on the roster was given to someone that doesn't deserve it. And that it's a travesty some young player that was more worthy had their spot stolen.

I'm sure the Bills fan made it 63 pages in when they signed (our new starting TE no less) Chris Manhertz to their preseason roster after never having played football in his entire life. Oh wait I'm sure they didn't because nobody cares about the 5th string TE. Even when it's a guy who had never played football in his entire life.

The only reason we are 63 pages in is because there are a ton of people that really dislike (if not hate) Tebow and want to see him fail. Even if that means rooting against the Jags.

Has Manhertz played TE before?

Has Manhertz been out of football for 8 years?

If you want to rationalize it like that fine.  But if they had brought in...you know...an actual TE he might not have been '5th on the depth chart'.

He had never played football in his entire life before the Bills gave him a chance on their preseason roster. And I guarantee you no one cared since he was probably their 5th string TE and last guy to make the roster. I bet 90% of Bills fans at the time didn't even know he was on the roster. If instead of signing Tebow, we had brought in somebody who had never played football in their entire life I bet we'd be at max 5 pages in. Half the messages would wish the guy luck and the other half would be saying Urban is a loser and that we should be trading for Ertz.

But instead we're up to 64 pages now. And it's because people hate Tebow. That's it. That's why we're here. 

The only question left is how quickly we make it to 100. Just not sure if the dead period will slow it down cuz he isn't on the field which means less coverage. Or if it'll speed things up cuz there is nothing else to discuss.

Manhertz was 24 years old when he came into the NFL/started to learn the TE position, not 34.

Nobody on the Bills cared/even knew about it because the national media didn't lead off every story with him being the main stay as a 34 year old converted has been. The fact that you're trying to compare their situations is laughable and flat out stupid honestly.

Nobody has a problem with trying to convert a former basketball player, who's 6'6, 260 pounds and 24 years old to possibly be the 4th/5th string TE at the back end of the roster. 

The problem is that the guy some people are hyping up/who's getting headlines (which is why people are talking about it) is a 34 year old, 6'3, 240 pound former QB who hasn't played the game in 9 years, who's now trying to convert to TE. Tebow is only relevant because of his College days. Great College career, nobody can deny that, but that was 13 years ago, time to move on.

Get off the dumb [BLEEP] that people just want to see Tebow fail. It's not that people want him to fail, it's that we've already seen him fail multiple times in the NFL, which is why he went to minor league baseball. He had his shot with the Broncos. He then had a shot with the Jets. He then had a shot with the Patriots and then a shot with the Eagles. He has already had multiple chances and that was when he was in his prime.
