I’m ok with it as long as they remain a fan when said player leaves.

I’m sure there are some people who were Clemson fans and are now Jags fans. Hopefully they remain that way for life.

As I disclosed in my intro post, I have 2 daughters at Clemson and have very much enjoyed Trevor Lawrence's work and Etienne. I also went to UF and have always been a Tebow fan. I'm not heretofore a Jags fan but pledged not to disrupt.

Here's the other thing: message boards skew older. The younger generations tend to use some other social media to keep up with thjngs. But I prefer threaded discussions to keep up with news, etc.

As long as someone doesn't troll, doesn't mention Tebiw in every other thread, and doesn't whine out when things don't his way, I don't see why anybody would mind the traffic. The Jags could stand a little limelight.

I don’t mind the bandwagon fans. I may not agree with most of what Race says(actually closers I any) but I respect that he embraces the fact that he has no investment in the team other than a player. 

I may find it weird the lengths he goes to to defend his man crush, but as someone who was born and raised in Jacksonville, I’ve seen Tebow fans first hand for a while now and it does not surprise me. And as nole fan who had to listen to them my whole stint at UNF 2009-2013 I am at the other end of spectrum.

Definitely interesting. You would think he would be fine in pads. It's probably the lack of agility and quickness that hurts more with the pads on. It could also be he hasn't been it pads for a while.

Sounds like the preseason games could be nonstop laughs with him on the field.
