Trade cj Henderson, taven, and Jawaan. Gators never live up to their draft status in a Jaguar uniform.

Here's my scrimmage report:
Trevor threw a lot of very accurate passes. I remember a few that were dropped. Trevor is obviously our best QB, and Minshew is obviously our 2nd best QB. I'm not sure I would keep CJ Beathard. We might perhaps want to just write off that 2 million guarantee. Travis Etienne looks like he can play WR if they want to line him up there. He made an excellent 1-handed grab on a pass from Minshew. Laviska Chenault dropped at least 3 catchable balls. Mannhertz dropped an easy catch. Too many dropped passes today. Josh Allen was not out there. Bottom line: Trevor looked really good. (08-08-2021, 01:05 PM)Jagsfan32277 Wrote: Trade cj Henderson, taven, and Jawaan. Not sure what's going on with him personally though CJ Henderson has the potential to be a great corner, but isn't close to reaching it yet. He was inconsistent, then injured last year. He's practiced once in training camp this year. Way too soon to anoint him as "a great corner." Very big "if" you included at the end. Worst to 1st. Curse Reversed!

He was great in college, has all the tools, and showed week 1 what's he's capable of as a rookie. He got hurt and missed over the whole 2md half of the season. He's just got to stay healthy and want to play

I wonder how many exceptions we can have and still "prove the rule." Now if the statement had been "gators hardly ever live up to their draft status with the Jaguars," that I might go along with. But I do know English and I do know what the word "never" means. "Never" does not come with any possibility of an exception. But with that in mind, I would add, we've had a lot of players who failed to live up to their draft status. Not just gators.

I meant to say something about Tim Tebow and what I saw of him in the scrimmage today. I don't know what to make of that guy. He caught a few passes. But he doesn't look very athletic. He's kind of heavy-footed. He lumbers around out there. There was one pass that was overthrown, but a normal size TE with normal TE height and normal TE jumping ability would have caught it.
Still, he was productive. So I don't know. Maybe he'll make the team. Personally, I would cut him loose, because he looks slow. Like he's running with ankle weights.

I seen I nice pass he caught across the middle looked like it would of been a big gain in a real game |
