I'm thinking Meyer is following the strategy of hiding his scoring plays and weapons until the reg season. We are hoping to lull DC's into a false sense of security. Plus, it's preseason. Evaluation of talent doesn't have to include scoring.

I suspect there will be a lot of 1:1 win/lose assessments similar to the practices.  On defense in particular there has been such a turnover in talent that the first challenge is discovering the guys who can to the job immediately in front of them.

On the plus side, the interior line was looking solid.  If the tackles can't provide more than a couple beats protection then we'll be looking at a lot of short slants, dump passes and screens this year.
