Biden vacates DC as Afghanistan, immigration crises accelerate

You guys act surprised by how that press conference went? Why? Where have you been for the past 20 years? That's they way they all go. Every president since 9/11, either outright lies or passes the buck when anything negative happens in the Middle East.

Do you think this would be happening under Trump. Simple yes or no... no diatribes about how he's mean and disrespectful and blah blah blah.. Do you think he would have withdrawn this badly?

It's quite another to lie like this administration allows. Every president since 9/11, either outright lies or passes the buck when anything negative happens in the Middle East. The "press conference" was one huge gigantic lie and was staged just for the optics. Why doesn't he call on reporters at random like the past President? Why the list of reporters to call on? The only logical answer was because they were screened "pre-approved" questions that he had the answers to either in the notes right in front of him or the teleprompter and even then his answers never answered the question. The reality is that people are dying because of the actions this regime is doing. The taliban is putting out propaganda that the MSM and the regime are saying is the "truth". The reality is that billions of dollars worth of military hardware is being dismantled and taken out of the country. The reality is that many of our allies and their families are being slaughtered right now. We broke our promise and abandoned them. There are 10 kinds of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those who don't.

He would get asked a question then literally tell the person that is the wrong question and change the question to answer his new one. I listened to it on the radio and it sounded scripted.

I voted 3rd party, because the 2 primary parties keep nominating senile old men, who have no business running for office. There needs to be age limits on people who hold office. We have a retirement age in this country. If You are over the retirement age, you should be restricted from holding office. I honestly don't know. I cannot answer that question, because I have no idea how a Trump administration would've handled it. Based on how he handled many other issues during his time in office, I highly doubt he would've done a whole lot better. I can't see him giving citizenship to a bunch of foreign interpreters from the middle east, even if it was promised to them.

Paraphrasing the details here but.... Trump had a plan that included steps and actions to be taken that would have the Taliban and Afghan government partnered together (for lack of better words) to run the country. Approximately 800 of our SpecOps and CIA would remain to run a unit to keep everyone in check. Not perfect but better than the current situation which anyone with half a brain could see coming if a plan wasn't in place. Biden took a dump on all of it and you see the end result. The Taliban figured if we didn't keep our end of the deal why should they. Trump is a blow hard and I don't care for him as a person, at all, but he's no pushover and he says what he means. That's who you want in your corner when making these deals because the other party doesn't know how to bully that kind of personality and they're not sure how crazy he really is. Not ideal but we're not dealing with rational people in the Taliban. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! The Taliban and the Ghani government were never going to come to any sort of power sharing agreement. There was no way to force it to happen. Each said that was what they wanted when it suited them to say so, but neither meant it.

You're assuming Trump would've followed through with his plans. Trump was good at making promises. It's his follow through or lack thereof that caused many people to turn on him. I'm still waiting on a border wall that was supposed to be paid by Mexico and I'm also waiting for the bigger and better option to Obamacare that Trump promised. Weren't those the base of his campaign promises? I think so.

They're promises not guarantees. And the left was determined to oppose everything he did, even Operation Warp Speed. The vaccine that was 'poison' under Trump is now being mandated by the left under Biden. Trump failed at many things but foreign policy was not one of them.

And here I thought 600 Afghans stuffed into a C17 with others falling to their death would be the definining scene of the Biden presidency. This kind of scene would have never happened under Trump amd everyone knows it. |
