This is why the message from public officials needs to be to TALK TO YOUR DOCTORS.  By and large, doctors would recommend taking the vaccine for their patients, with some exceptions.

I don't totally disagree with you, but these are the same doctors that push specific meds because they get kickbacks from the smoking hot pharma rep that is in the office every day pushing the latest ad on TV.

It also means the alphabet health agencies need to unify their message. That begins with getting attention-whore Fauci to shut his antagonistic and contrary mouth.

Got it.
Don’t believe masks are effective in schools.
Noted.

How many dead kids and teachers is an acceptable statistic in the state of FL?
I’m just curious. It’s not rocket science, right?
Similar statistic to car accident fatalities since that’s your comp?

I know because of the healthcare crisis in our country many folks don't have a PCP, but if you have a regular PCP that you go to at least once a year who knows your health history and you have a good relationship with, then it's a no brainer.

I understand what you are saying, but I believe most PCPs have their patients best interest in mind.  I mean, they sort of have to or their revenue stream goes away.  Not everyone is good, but it seems you have a rebuttal for everything that everyone is just in it to make money and it's some giant conspiracy, which it's not.

Masks in school are a farce because even if they are required indoors, they aren't required outdoors. Not sure if you have young school age children, but they congregate very closely outdoors. Masks aren't doing anything.

Masks on young kids is a farce and the hospitalizations and deaths don't support the idea.

But it's a reality and a cause for skepticism.  I agree with you on the PCP, but also believe people have the right to be skeptical in this environment.

Think about it, this administration has basically resorted to pitting Americans against each other with public shaming to get more needles in arms. Bidens instincts have never been right and that is reflected in his entire cabinet.

I agree with you about the administration, which goes back to my original point that the messaging should be talk to your specific doctor (which you then hinted that all the doctors just take kick backs and prescribe whatever medicine the hot pharm rep is pushing).

You're such a drama queen. So, just so I'm clear, is this one of those refutations you keep going on about? I never said Covid was comparable to car accidents, since kids are 12X more likely to die in a car accident than from Covid, but we can ignore that fact since it interferes with your emotions.

Moving onto other things, I thought this is an interesting opinion piece.

There are 74 million children in the US. 335 died from Covid. The odds of your child dying is 0.0000045%.

3/4 of those were probably not even due to COVID, since we, you know, managed to eradicate the seasonal flu.

Most PCPs are garbage and don't have the best interest of their patients in mind anymore. If you are sick, you spend more money. They are overworked and don't have time for any research to actually heal you or get you off a Rx. They may initially care when they start but most just don't have the time or stamina to treat their patients like they should. You cannot be treated if you spend less than 5 mins with your doctor. They just look at your chart and say do this, take this, etc. Everything is standard treatments but are not tailored for you.

Doctors make money but really today it is harder to make money as medicare et al has cut payments and frankly they lose money seeing too many patients without private insurance.

A PCP is basically only good at detecting something abnormal. They are not specialist, there is no way for them to know everything they would need to know. Basically they are just a gate keeper to give you drugs if something is abnormal in labs or tell you to go to a specialist.

You lost any credibility on the topic when you said unmasked kids are just as safe as masked.
You’ve talked yourself into believing that but it’s unfortunately not true according to thousands of epidemiologists around the planet.

So you are essentially stating that the strict precautions that were taken like mask wearing and online classes were effective.  I agree.

What a load of crap.
When you have something wrong, who do you go see? You don't go to a general doctor, you go to a specialist to see someone who actually knows what they are doing in that area.

When you have problem with your house, do you call a general handyman or a company that specializes in a skillset? Sure they handyman may be able to do something but you aren't going to get the best work or results.

PCPs are only good at monitoring or providing basic treatment for people who cannot afford to get specialized treatment by doctors who only do 1 thing.
