A California school district is investigating a teacher after she posted a video admitting that she encouraged her students to pledge allegiance to a gay pride flag after she removed the American flag from her classroom.

Let me just be clear here. I'm not against Gay Rights, I believe that all people have the right to Life, Liberty, and The pursuit of Happiness. I know people from all walks of life., from the homeless to people that have more money then I can ever dream of. I know people that are in the G/B/L/T group and people of all races and everything in between. And I treat them all the same, they way I want to be treated. What I am against is forcing it down the throats of impressionable young people... Let them be kids for crying out loud, they'll have plenty of time in their life to form their own opinions and decide how they should live. Because in the long run, we all end up at the same place where everyone is treated equal and the same...... Six feet under and just another name on a tombstone..........

My wife is a teacher. She doesn't have to do a pledge at all. She just has to do some sort of patriotic observation. She does This day in US History. The kids love it, and nobody complains

I always assume they're married to someone who makes a bunch of money, and they just do the work to fill the time.  I could not imagine someone who absolutely needs 65k a year to do something so stupid, unless it didn't really matter.
But then again, half the world is stupider than the other half.
