Sure, but why are there so many drops? Why is he continuing to throw these balls through the middle? Don't they have play calling to get him into rhythm? Surely there should be some plays designed to right the ship if it starts to look like it did? I mean, some easy completions at least even if they're short.

I'm totally confused.  I don't understand what is going on.  During the off season I was told all we needed to be a contender was to draft TLaw.

Well this was a crap debut. Too many self inflicted wounds again. Defense is still clueless. Just stinks because the winner of this game is alone in first place after 1 week.

Especially when all you heard from this staff is, "we're going to be a strong running team and play strong defense". Didn't see much of either today.
