JUST IN - NY Federal Reserve now sees inflation at 5.2% in one year, 4% in three years; a series high with "large expected price rises" in food, rent, and medical costs.

How is that possible?  Joe said printing all of this money and demanding labor be paid a higher minimum wage would not increase prices of things and would solve all of our problems?

And they are still trying to print it.

Right now a lot of places have threatened to fire you but the date hasn't come yet. Places are backing off after they realize they will lose whole departments or too many people. It will be interesting if city governments start firing people or large corporations do.

Lol, I had 4% of my work force refuse. I think we can absorb the loss. The fact is that you guys are a loud and whiny minority and most people understand that getting the vaccine is the logical, scientific, and morally correct thing to do.

How do you feel about forcing people to get the vaccine to keep their job? How do you feel about firing people over refusing to take the risk of dying from the vaccine? Weren't these same people considered heros prior to the vaccine mandate? Are they still no heros?

He laughed off 4% of his staff becoming unemployed, so I think he has made it very clear how he feels about mandatory vaccination.

Sadly he clearly values mandates over human life. Even if he has already admitted you can die from taking the vaccine.

I am fine with people deciding for themselves if the vaccine or their job is more important to them. You guys do understand that vaccine mandates have been a thing in healthcare for decades, right? Politics doesn't change that reality no matter how much you guys wring your hands about it. It's a job requirement and you have a choice, but what you don't have is a right to the job.

I was laughing at p_rushing offering bad legal advice again. My people that are leaving I wish would stay, but they decided that not vaccinating was more important to them. To me providing a safe workplace is more important and therefore vaccination, the proven solution for this pandemic, is the play.

I think the kicker is it becoming a job requirement in the middle of the job.

Happens often in healthcare.

That's dumb. You're a dude I respect, but this is easily your dumbest take since I've been reading you on this board. You aren't protecting [BLEEP] with this move and you know it. Well, you should know it.

But it's every industry,  except a few, like the USPS, ya know, who interact with millions of people face to face every day.

Botched,  political, you are right.

Curious how this would have went if it happened in 2017.
