We've got a kicker on the practice squad (Matthew Wroighjt).  Elevate him to the team and see what he can do.  Put Lambo on the short-term IR and let him deal with whatever it is that has caused him to get the yips.  Those misses are really destroying any momentum we might be building in games, and his struggles go back to the preseason.  It's really hurting the team right now.

For a team that severely lacks in TDs and FGs, we can't get stuck having him "work it out" after multiple weeks when something has clearly gone awry in Lambo's kicking ability.

We need to bring someone else in but like others said, I fear he will remain on this roster for the next game due to a short week.

I like the guy and what he's done for us in our darkest moments, but it's evident that we need a replacement at kicker.

We can let him work it out for multiple weeks. Just not on the roster. If he can go on IR while he recovers from whatever is causing this, fine.

Meanwhile, I don't care how short the week is, someone else needs to be kicking by the next game. It's not like they could do worse.

Well said.  In this league, you either can or can’t.  And with his performance, I’m surprised he’s still on the roster.  I really do wish the man turns it around.

In my opinion, Lambo's issue is last year's hip injury. He may not have his full hip rotation back of which may be hindering his performance(s). Hopefully he'll work through this deficiency prior to the staff considering letting him go.

The injury can effect accuracy. But this is most likely mental.
