Marvin Jones and Shenault will do just fine carrying the load at WR.

Chark is not a huge loss. We’re not making a playoff run anytime soon. He will get healthy and be ready to go in the future.

Hate to say it but he's probably done in Jacksonville

I hope the Jags try to sign him to a contract.  I can't believe he would cost that much given his lack of production last year and then coming off a season cut short by IR.  He's got the potential.

I initially thought the same thing. Outside of his pro bowl season, he hasn’t really played like a true number 1. He would be an excellent number 2 on any team.

I hope he sticks around but these WRs these days are all good.

Chark is the only WR we had that has the speed to get separation. It's definitely a big loss. You can't replace that kind of speed. We're gonna have to rely on the running game and quick, short passes until he comes back. The good news is that might be the best thing for Lawrence's development. We were asking him to do too much, too soon by dropping back and chucking it downfield on every play. We need to bring him along slowly. Once we started running, using short passes and allowing Trevor to use his legs to make plays, he looks like the kind of QB we thought he would be.

I hope so too, 73 1008 8 are solid numbers with trash QBs in 2019. With Lawrence we’re looking at 88 1200 10

I still think Shenault can become our true number 1. Jones can work the sticks.

It's always a matter of price. If he's willing to sign for a reasonable number and Trevor said he wants to keep him around then I could see him being here for another couple of seasons. He doesn't look like he'll ever be a number one receiver, so if someone else wants to overpay him let them do it.

Shenault has speed and can separate. Btw check the bengals score prediction thread.

A player like Chark going down is NEVER good for our team, let alone the development of our QB despite some sentiments being made.

Hope his recovery is speedy and he fully overcomes his injury. He might be on a prove-it deal when he gets back.

This was his contract year too. We may get a bargain. It sucks for him but I want us to resign him.

He played his last gsme here. Sorry he got hurt, but he wasn't worth a new contract anyway. I'm sure he will go on to be a solid #2 in a big market.

No one really knows what Shenault's speed is, because he was injured when he ran the 40 and clocked a bad 4.58/40. I watched him at Colorado and he never looked that fast. His success came in the way they utilized him. They would move him all over the offense and he was a really tough guy that used his size to shed tacklers and out muscle them for the ball, using his excellent body control. I always viewed him as a possession receiver. Separation was never his style of play.

Not necessarily. I doubt any team is gonna offer him a big contract if he misses most or all of the rest of the season. All things being equal, he might decide to take a moderate, short term, "prove it" type deal in a place he's already familiar with. He sees we now have a good QB and he might wanna be part of the building process here.

Leave it to that fat, idiot, Jawaan Taylor to screw us over by flopping down on our best receiver. I hate that guy!

Jones has been playing better.

Chark has been mediocre at best this season.

Interested to see if they go for another trade or sign someone off a practice squad…
