We haven’t felt what it’s like to win for that long and after years of ineptitude. We’re on our way to an even lower bar. So yeah a win tonight would have been greatyeah I get it 19 losses in a row definitely hurts... but we're making progress and anybody who thought just because we drafted TL we were going to come out and win games with a rookie quarterback new coaching staff etc is not looking at it unrealistically.... we're going to bounce back I feel like a broken record but there’s no bouncing back for a long time now. Our schedule was soft to begin the year now it’s brutal. Not only will we tie the record for most consecutive losses but we will threaten to become the new number 1 We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today!
This one was another hurt. We probably would have won this at home but should have won it. Should of could of would of. Ouch.
I'm still annoyed how far off we played when they weren't in FG range. 2nd and 14 and you play 12 yards off and give up a first down to a quick screen and FG range.
That was probably the worst 2nd half defense i've seen this team play in a while. Literally couldn't get a single stop.

At least we're in play for a player like Derek Stingley Jr. because we definitely need help and depth at CB. Both would be very welcome additions to this Defense. We show less advertisements to registered users. Accounts are free; join today! I have 0 confidence in him to drop back.. giving me Gabbert feels. We'll see what happens but so far, no impressed with him at all. Oh and to that one guy, James Robinson is 100% a top 100 player btw. My take on Trevor Lawrence is vastly different. Lawrence looked like a QB who already made major strides. His movement skills, decision making, accuracy, throwing velocity, and the confidence he displayed, were impressive in this game. Lawrence didn't get enough help from most of his supporting cast on either side of the ball in the 2nd Half.

He said when the pocket broke down and Trevor was forced to scramble, his receivers were not helping him out. They were just continuing their routes at a trot and not making moves to get open. I'm condescending. That means I talk down to you.

(10-01-2021, 12:19 AM)Eric1 Wrote: Congrats Herndon you stink... Burrow was picking on Herndon a lot in that 2nd half. He was really struggling and on that play its man to man, not sure how he gets confused that easily. It was his first game for a while but weve seen this from him for a while now. That was the killer last night, O was moving the ball and scoring, D just needed to make it difficult but not sure what happened 2nd half. The Chase catch over Campbell seemed to get the Bengals going and we started to slide from that one play.
I thought Lawrence looked good last night. I still think hiring Urban was a mis hire. He is not made for the NFL. I do not like all the QB runs and think Lawrence is going to get hurt if he keeps this stuff up.
You know you're dealing with a belief system when you get an emotional response.
