yeah, can't remember against who it was (Broncs maybe?) but someone tried that and became a human projectile.

I almost hope that they do put Cisco in, and he whiffs a big tackle just to see how some of the commenters will write off the mistake instead of holding him to the same standard of perfection they hold Wingard to.

I would like Cisco to get some playing time at the very least in which he did the first few weeks but I havent seen him out there the last few. We are last in turnovers and Cisco is a ball hawk

Dewey has been whiffing tackles for 3 seasons now. He isn't a rookie getting his first NFL experience like Cisco will be. If Cisco is still whiffing tackles left and right come year 3, he'll get the very same treatment as Sir Dewey.

Cisco is bigger, faster, more physical, has better range and was a ball magnet in College. Ball production typically translates to the next level. It's a lot like instincts, you either have them or you don't. For a team dying to get turnovers, I can't understand why they don't give a guy who forced 15 turnovers in 24 games a shot to try and make some plays.

You wingard haters are ridiculous.  There is no pass rush,  this whole secondary has been beaten like a drum.  I am not saying he is an all pro but has seriously stepped up his game from last year.  Give the guy some credit.   Pick on guys like Myles Jack who have the talent but for whatever reason have played like trash this year.

It isn't hating. Hating is when you diss a dude who is good just because.
Hell, I'd take being called a Lamar Jackson hater. I've been super super critical of the dude even after winning an MVP. The other night he put on a clinic in the 4th Q that pretty much made me eat my words, crow, and whatever else was being served up.

Wingard has done diddly squat to have haters. He's just not good and we have a player who is as good or better sitting behind him. Get the rook the reps.

He's definitely the missing piece of the Bucs starting D.  They offered Lavonte David and Mike Evans to the Jags in exchange for Wingard but the Jags were requiring the Bucs to through in a 2022 first round draft pick as well.
