Right from the start those that have been watching the NFL in a serious way for any length of time could see exactly what was going on, and that there weren't any alarming issues. If Trevor had been drafted into a situation like the one Mahomes was drafted into he'd probably already be winning games and having talk about the pro bowl thrown around. The dude is already decent and making multiple parts of a bad team, including its head coach, look decent. I'd even say part of Robinson's excellent production this year so far is because teams are paying primary attention to Lawrence, already.
Meh. To me he has looked alright and serviceable as a franchise QB, nothing more. I don't think that he's anything particularly special.

LOL at the folks that don't believe in Trevor. He was drafted by a team won 1 game last year, playing behind a shaky O-line, roster that is devoid of talent, and he's improving every week.
Trevor Lawrence continues to show he IS the guy. Elite arm, excellent football IQ, quick when he needs to be, and shows toughness in the pocket. He has improved game over game so far, without a ton of offensive talent around him, besides Robinson and Jones.
He keeps getting better. Still plenty of room for growth but he's going to be really, really good.
